Toilet went berserk during the nightPosted Sep 7, 2013
Pros: proximity to airport
Cons: hotel is a little rundown
Hotel was not as nice or in as nice an area as it appeared in pictures. Once we saw the surrounding neighborhood, we were a little concerned about the safety of our vehicle, but it made it through the night unharmed. After flushing the toilet at around 2 am, water began gushing out of the tank in a huge waterfall. Thankfully, my sister heard it right away and only an inch or so of water collected on the floor. If we had slept through it the whole room would have flooded. Note, this was not a stopped up toilet. Something actually broke in the tank so that it kept running and overflowed. Management was apologetic and offered to open another room (on another floor) to use the bathroom, but we had to get up and leave for the airport in about an hour, so we just left early. No offer for refund or partial refund. Room was also noisy.

airport stayPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
we were nervous when our daughter dropped us off at the hotel because of the surrounding area. After we were inside, things were much better. The had a pool in the back which we stayed in for a few hours. The shuttle service in the morning was great! Everyone was friendly and helpful.. Will stay here again.

Good hotel but If only parking was betterPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed for one night. I had no complaintsfor the hotel. The price was good even for having a huge event less than 3 miles away and the rooms and hotel were nice and kept up. The only issue I had was finding a parking space, the lot was small and poorly lit.

Very clean, Friendly staffPosted Aug 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
Nice and convenient, nice breakfast buffet, and dinner as well. Bed was very comfy and room very clean. One thing that I did not like was housekeeping spraying fabreeze to the point of gag. Way overkill and not necessary as no smell that I was aware of to cover up. I travel here often and will stay here again.

Have stayed at nicer for the same moneyPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Price was in the right range and a convenient location
Cons: See above, should not be hard to pick one!!!
Location: Was not in Austin for activities so no comment
AC was very inconsistent on temperature and woke up sweating several times. Our sink was stopped up and very slow draining. The free breakfast was the only way they were going to get rid of it. I would suggest going down the street for breakfast. Parking is a joke, not enough spaces for the capacity of the hotel. Bring something to fan yourself while outside of your room, especially the elevator.

Very Dirty HotelPosted Aug 17, 2013
Location: Very close to airport but is at least 10 minutes from restaurants.
I would not stay at this hotel again. I booked the room online and then called the hotel to confirm I would have a crib in my room. They said they would have one in there when we checked in. We got to the hotel the next day and they had no record of me asking for a crib. They then said they would bring one right up to the room. 3 hours later I had to call again to ask for a crib. The crib never arrived so my infant had to sleep in her car carrier. The room was very dirty and I am pretty sure the bathroom had only been wiped down since the last person checked out. There was hair all over the toilet, tub and counter. We arrived late and checked out very early for a flight so I was looking so a low price hotel. Next time I will pay the extra $30 or so and stay at the Hilton.

Felt like being on an IslandPosted Aug 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
I chose to stay at the quality in for a couple days before moving on to the Hilton downtown. I am always disappointed with the quality of the continental breakfast at the Quality Inn. The only real thing on the menu was the hard boiled egg. The rest was just a hodge-podge of processed foods, sugary cereals, and from concentrate juice drinks. I had a better continental breakfast at the hotel I was staying at in Guatemala, which is hard to believe considering it is a third world country. I am tired of not having healthy options during continental breakfasts. It would be nice to have greek yogurt or freshly cut fruit and oatmeal (without the artificial flavors and added sugar). My room had an old musty smell to it and the air felt damp, but I did appreciate that there was a mini fridge and microwave. Too bad there wasn't a grocery store nearby where I could get some decent food to eat. The only two options were Domino's pizza and Chinese food. To end on a positive note, I am very happy that this hotel provided complimentary internet access. That is a plus!

Very close to the airport, has airport shuttle.Posted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, free wifi, close to gas station/liquor store.
Stayed here for a business trip, very close to hotel, nice staff, good breakfast (has sausage, eggs, and hash potatoes), lcd TV, and comfy beds. Was really happy with what I paid for, will definitely stay here again.
