“Cheap, but worth it”
Although it didn't have a lot of amenities, it was not a bad place to stay. I was there for 3 nights, and the staff was wonderful. They were all very nice, and I came back every night to a clean room and fresh towels. Also, there is a great Mexican restaurant right next door!
“Best hotel in Austin dollar for dollar”
Great staff, very friendly and accomodative, highly recommend!
“Rare”
The room was very comfortable and the service was exceptional! I would recommend this hotel to any type of traveler.
“good”
great if your the type of person to just stay in your room. sorry im not sure if the activity was crazy outside the room. however i didnt see any cops and it was very quite.
“Motel was ok”
Everything was fine except there was no ice in the lobby ice machine and the clerk said I would have to go to the 2nd floor to get some which I thought was an inconvenience. That was the 2nd day I was there. On the first day at check in I asked if there would be coffee early in the morning and was told that they had no coffee but she did give me a free coffee mug with the Red Roof logo and said that I could walk over to the shell station next door to get coffee which I did early next morning in the dark where they charged me 53 cents to fill my mug.
“Good rest experience”
Is a good and economic option
“Recommended - Great place to stay”
I was a bit apprehensive about reserving a room at this hotel after having read some of the negative comments in the reviews section of this site. When I got into the room however, everything was fine. It smelled fresh (smoking vs. non-smoking may have something to do with it) and looked very neat and clean. The beds are about like you'd expect from a hotel bed... not the softest beds in the world but could be much worse. The room comes with standard stuff - several wash cloths, bar of soap, shampoo, one or two towels, kleenex, TV, clock, phone, ect. There was also a nice list of movies to chose from the OnCommand menu. Over all, the service was great and the room was comfortable. I will stay again the next time I'm in Austin.
“Better than the Reviews said”
Friends and I were going to a concert and looking for a cheap place to stay... This was it but the reviews on the place said not to espect much. The pople were very nice and even helped us find a place to hang afterwars, the rooms were very comfy, and it was very easy to find! I'll go back again next time I'm in Austin! Good Job!
“Nothing fancy but good value”
Check in and check out is lightning quick. These folks really excel in customer service. This is by no means a luxury hotel, but the rooms are clean and functional. Great for anyone who doesn't have a lot to spend but wants a safe, clean, comforable room. I will definitely stay here again.
“Satisfied”
Good deal
