“Not impressed”

Smoke free rooms reeked of smoke. Repeated problems with the door key reader, and slow or no reply from the maintenance man.

“Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed In!”

This hotel is horrible compared to other Red Roof Inns where I have stayed. The building is in need of serious remodeling. The beds were old and worn out. The bathroom door didn't even completely shut! The only reason we did not switch hotels is because we had a non-refundable rate. Otherwise we would've left after about an hour!

“Money well spent and saved”

I was a little disappointed that they did not have coffee makers in the rooms and the coffee machine in the lobby was broken for a day. I also was amazed that there was no hair dryer in my room and this was the trip I picked not to take my own!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! For what they charge per night, the can afford a few upgrades.

Area recommendations

IH35 @ McNeil in Round Rock, TX. The bats come out from under the bridge at night fall and it is a wonderful sight!

“Okay for the price.”

If you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower after a long day this hotel is fine. Overall, the hotel was a bit run down but my room was pretty clean. Not the nicest or most comfortable hotel i have stayed in but i didnt expect much for the price.

“A little disappointing”

I have a feeling this is where other hotels go to die. Room was gross. Sheets had strange hairs on them. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Sheets and towels were apparently issued by 3M's sand paper division. Despite the "Privacy Please" sign I put on the door, housekeeping kept knocking and trying to open the door. I basically convinced myself that if I heard some growling noise in the middle of the night, I wasn't going to open my eyes and just hope whatever it was would just go away. Like a T-Rex if I stayed still.

“Exceptional value.”

When in Round Rock, I usually stay at a hotel that is 4x the price, because it is a well known hotel chain. Since they were sold out last week, I booked a reservation at the Red Roof Inn. Not only was it reasonably priced, the rooms were extremely clean and the bed was quite comfortable as well. In addition, the staff was warm and friendly. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Red Roof Inn will be my hotel of choice whenever I visit Round Rock from now on!

“never again”

The pictures of the hotel were not accurate for its' condition. the room was dirty and run down. the hallway was missing half of the tiles and carpet and the carpet in the hotel is gross.

This hotel was too austere. There was only one face towel. The soaps were absolute slivers, much too small. The shower and the toilet were almost combined. Too too small.
