“Great location!”

The most amazing thing about this hotel is its location: Its just about 25 minutes from Austin airport and just 5 minutes away from the outlets! It is clean, and the rooms are ok. The only con I found was that you get cheaper fares as a walk in than making a reservation in advance, but it most be a seasonal thing.

“Clean and comfortable”

The Red Roof Inn is a good choice for convenience, comfort, cleanliness, and basic services. It is a no frills property that provided me with a spacious, clean, and comfortable room at a good price. I was not looking for an extended stay, and this more than adequately served my purpose. It is always nice when upon arriving in the breakfast area the next morning, the management greets you by name! I will definitly consider this property for my next stay in San Marcos.

I was greeted my very nice and pleasant staff who was able to answer all my question professionally. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was central to all my activities

“Not bad at all”

Nice hotel, easy check in. Room was clean and modern, with a fairly decent bed. The high speed internet was great when it worked, but the last day of my three day stay it was spotty at best. The "continental breakfast " is two choices of cereal with milk, watered down orange juice and weak coffee. Located 50 feet from a major highway, traffic noise was loud. Ask for a room on the west side of building if you're a light sleeper. Parking lot was small but well lit. KFC in walking distance, plenty of other dining choices nearby. Overall not a bad experience and I'm not opposed to staying here again.

“Good Stay”

The management of this hotel must have changed since last year. I was extremely impressed in the difference of appearance, smell, and cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. The hotel service has always been good, but something has changed (for the better) since my last stay.

“OK for the price”

clean, quite, front desk service is ok. Cons: almost no pressure in the shower No Internet in the room (i was told the wireless signal reached some but not all of the rooms)

My daughter will be going to Texas State ,so now I have found a place to stay when we go visit.

My friends and I had very low expectations coming into our stay at the Red Roof Inn, and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel was completely indoors, and our room was a nice size, and very clean. The pool and hot tub are definitely nothing special, but overall, the hotel experience was good. I would definitely recommend it for a nice, cheap place to stay.
