Revamped and Worth every pennyPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel has recently gone through a renovation and wow did they do a great job. it is much more modern and my wife kids and myself all were very happy with the outcome. the service is alwyas outstanding and have to call out the valet and bellhop workers for above and beyond work. they had all our bags in our vehicle by the time we got downstairs which is so rare. AAA+++ all around

Somewhat inside looking for being a 'resort'Posted Aug 23, 2013
Front desk staff and room service were excellent, location is interesting, fitness centre great but outdoor pool area a bit small for size and style of hotel. Design is strange, huge covered atrium has a bit of a railway station ambience and many of the - high quality - rooms (like mine) only open up to the atrium which makes them somewhat gloomy.

Perfect!Posted Aug 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was absolutely amazing! The hotel staff was incredibly courteous, the room was beautiful, the view was breathtaking, and the breakfast was delicious (although a little over priced). We started in the luxury suite and we did not want to leave the next morning. We did wish we had known about the benefits of staying on the 9th floor thigh and wouldn't have minded paying a little extra for the perks. All in all it was a great mini vacation and we would definitely go back again :-)

More of a business or fine occasion hotelPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Hotel staff. Grandiosity of the hotel. Walking distance to nice shops and great restaurants like Eddie V's.
Cons: Small fridge in the room would be great. At least a Spartan breakfast could be provided
Location: Lots of Restaurants and Starbucks
I really love this hotel and we stayed here again because this was where we had our wedding reception. I think next time for our couples get away we will stay somewhere with a view of beautiful Austin Also we paid about 188/night and that rate did not include breakfast. Nonetheless, it's Austin, it was a fabulous experience and the hotel staff is amazing here.

Weekend GetawayPosted Aug 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
We have stayed at this hotel before and been very happy both times. The only issue is that the room wasn't completely clean when we checked in. But it was minor stuff that the staff had missed. Will definitely be staying again.

not great- under staffedPosted Aug 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
This hotel was very understaffed- it took until 6:30 to get into my room and I had to call room service 5 times before someone picked up.

Great staff, clean hotellPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was perfect, service was great. Only hitch was that room was not ready on check-in, which we didn't know until we opened the door. However, when we told the front desk, they upgraded us to a suite and the rest of the stay was uneventful and typical of a Renaissance experience.
