I highly reconmend this hotel. The is extremely nice & helpful. The breakfast is great and Baby A's is just next door!

“Fabulous Stay”

There is nothing like having a quiet, fresh, clean-smelling suite everyday of my stay. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, super helpful staff and the daily cookie basket was a thoughtful surprise. My friend was impressed as well having been in many local hotels as part of his job. Excellent job, Marriott! You've got it right with Residence.

“Hidden home away from home”

I only stayed at this hotel for two nights, but the experience was pleasent. The location next to many restaurants and attractions was exactly what I was looking for. Make sure to look up where you are going first, as the entrance is through the Marriot Courtyard hotel.

“Good for Business Travel or Families”

This hotel is a good place for both the business traveler and families. It was very quiet.Internet Access from the room. I don't remember if it was free. They had a terminal in the lobby for restricted internet use. Best part, I could access the airline sites and print my boarding passes! There is a Whole Foods Market across the street so you can shop for your favorites and have them in the kitchen. The free breakfast was above average and the dinner (on weeknights) was okay. Hey, it's free! Unfortunately we all caught a bug during our stay. But the hotel had a small grocery with travel sizes of the medicines we needed without having to head out. A phone call to the desk and we had all we needed quickly such as extra blankets, pillows and towels. Everyone was SO nice and friendly. They had free toothpaste and razors (which we forgot to pack). At night they had free cookies in the lobby. One day they offered free contact solution. The beds were average. Pillows great. Sleeper sofa average. If you're used to very comfy beds when you travel, this isn't it. Just average. Only downside was that the pool and spa were outside. It was too rainy/cold during our stayto use them. I could have used an inside hot tub after my long flight. The Gateway Mall is across the road with movies, shopping, Whole Foods and restaurants. Dave and Busters Arcade is basically in the same parking lot. Easy access to MoPac, 183 and Capital of Texas Highway. We'll stay here again when we visit Austin.

“Great place for family”

The room was a good size. It had a separate living room with a sofa bed, a kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and microwave. The place was clean and well-kept. The location was close to restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay there again.

The staff at the desk and in the kitchen were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and efficient.

Pros: *Close to plenty of stores and restaurants. *Staff was very friendly. *Free hot breakfast had several choices *Kitchen in the room along with cooking pots & utensils *Free microwave popcorn *Mon-Thu during the evenings there was free food, wine, beer and beverages. *Pet friendly, we didn't have a pet but our neighboring room did (we never heard their dog unless entering or leaving our room) Cons *We would have preferred a king bed instead of queen. The queen was a very comfortable mattress. *The ceramic floor tile in the bathroom was loose and the room smelled slightly of urine (probably got under the tiles) *The flooring in the kitchen needed some maintenance, it was also loose. *No weights in the excercise room.
