“Helped to make a birthday memorable!”

There were 5 of us with 2 rooms with 2 queen beds in each. Both had fridges and microwaves. It was during Spring Break. 4 of us were coming from south Texas, and 1 of us from north. The solo traveler made it to the hotel almost an hour before the rest of us. Though the reservations were NOT in that person's name, the front desk offered the keys to her so that she wouldn't have to wait in the lobby...NICE! Rooms were cleaned and roomy. Though they were not side-by-side as requested, one was directly above the other. Right off the highway, but without the highway noise. Breakfast was completely basic. Will return when in the Round Rock area!

“Comfortable, but not impressive”

The hotel staff were very thoughtful and helpful as well as attentive to our needs. The hotel itself, is somewhat old and has not been kept up as well as it could. It was a fairly comfortable stay, but not all that impresive.

“Pleasant Stay”

We spent two nights, and it was pleasant enough. The rooms have a refrig and a microwave, which are nice. The bedspread and blanket on one bed smelled bad, but they replaced it quickly. We listed four people in the room, but they only put in two sets of towels, even on the second day after getting more the first day. However, again, they gave us more quickly. They were friendly, and the breakfast was satisfactory, with waffles in addition to the typical cereal, fruit and toast. Good but not great.

the hotel served our purpose; i recomment the suites over the rooms. there are more amenities. staff was very helpful.

“Good for what it is”

If you're going to Austin with kids to compete in sports tournaments, this place is fine. We had an AC unit go out and we were quickly relocated to a new room. The breakfast had enough variety that picky eaters were satisfied and the pool was ice cold - which was fine for 100 degree heat with 90% humidity. It's not the Driskill, but it's a cheap bed + AC + breakfast that's close to a few of the big tournament parks.

“okay for my purpose”

Had asked for a non-smoking room. Yet the room had a low level cigarette smell which revealed a past history of people smoking in the room.

“It's good value for the price”

I'm a firm believer that you get what you pay for. I like the affordable price of this facility so I don't expect the Ritz Carlton. I am basically looking for a decent place to sleep . I can accept a few flaws. There were some unidentifiable stains on the bathroom walls and my nonsmoking room smelled a little funky like it had been used as a smoking room in the past, but nothing unbearable. The water pipes made funny noises when you flushed the toilet. On the plus side the beds were comfortable and there were plenty of pillows of varied firmness. The staff was great. I will stay there again.

“basic, ok hotel”

Everything was about what we expected from a cheaper hotel. We didn't expect anything fancy from the continental breakfast, but we were annoyed that everything was always gone when we got there, no matter what time. They usually were able to replenish, but I ended up waiting half an hour for my morning coffee while they brewed a new pot-ugh!

“Not impress.”

There were crickets in the room. Apparently, the laundry room had a fire and some of the sheets from the fire were still being used. We asked for fresh sheets and the clerk brought them and expected us to remake the beds. We just put the cleen sheets over the stained sheets. We left for a while the next day and the sheets had not been changed to clean sheets. The coffee maker in the room didn't work and the a/c was extremely loud. There was not much variety for breakfast.

“What a dive...”

Poor location, poor upkeep, poor cleanliness. Would not go there again.
