“Great Hotel, Better Than You'd Think”

This Super 8 is brand spanking new, so it's as good as it's ever going to get. The staff are friendly and attentive (if you need them to be), but generally keep things running well and quiet. Got the spa room and while there were some initial issues with getting it to work, it was well worth the extra few bucks. No, this isn't a luxury hotel, but it's certainly a lot better than just a place to rest your head, a great balance of amenities, location and value. Highly recommended.

“Only Place To Stay”

This is my second stay here and for the money it can not be beat. Clean and comfy with pleasant people.

“SUPER DUPER 8”

This Super 8 is exceedingly nice... I was here on business... The location was perfect with 5 minutes away from 35 and 71 each way and the airport. Seems to be a fairly new hotel. Built with detail as that of a 4 star. Though the hotel was close to the hwy, It was very quiet and peaceful. It sits upon a nice hill, you could see the hill country from floor 2 or 3. Stunning views. In the back of the hotel is a nice very spacious grassy area for a romantic picnic or just to find a spot to read a book. The staff was professional and courteous. Often, I would forget I was in a Super 8 hotel- pretty luxrious without the big budget... Granite, Spa jacuzzi tubs in the room. Flat screen Tv's everywhere. Personal preference pillows. The BEDS? The BEST! Sinking into them was Heaven. Breakfast area was extremely clean and the staff was always quick to assist. I ENJOYED MY STAY AT THIS HOTEL AND DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I Love this place and is in the process of planning my next trip...this- is my choice of preference everytime I come to Austin...

“Excellent business hotel”

I have been a business traveler for many years. This Super 8 is one of the best business hotels I have ever stayed at. For one or two nights my requirements of a hotel are usually simply safe & clean. I have been looking for a hotel in Austin for many years and I have found it. This hotel is clean, well preserved, amminity laden and full of a very gracious staff. Everytime I turned around I found another something extra. The one note I would offer others is that if you are not in your own car (or rental) you may not like the site, it is a little remote. However with a car you can travel 183 for a few miles North and land in the middle of many shopping, eating and entertinment options. This is a high recommend.

“This is a fine example of a fine hotel”

My first impression of the hotel upon entering through the sliding glass doors was the smell of cleanliness. The hotel staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was excellent. Our room was the cleanest I've ever experienced. I was very impressed at the fact that the room included a flat screen tv and an electrical fan, which reminded me of home. This may not be a big deal to some, but it was a nice addition and something I didn't expect at a Super 8. Although me and my family ony stayed two nights, we all slept like a baby.

“Great place to stay - Highly recommended!!!”

This was a super nice hotel with an extremely helpful staff. The front desk clerk provided clear and concise directions and a map that helped us to understand the layout of downtown Austin right away. When asked if they had them for sale, they even provided free necessary cosmetic supplies (roll-on deodorant) that we had fogotten to bring with us. We would definitely stay there again. The free breakfast was a helpful bonus with a variety of options, including Starbucks coffee.

“Best Super 8 Ever”

For someone who travels a lot for work and has become a "hotel snob", we were not thrilled with staying at a Super 8. However, we were wrong! This was an outstanding hotel. Sparkling clean, comfy bed, spacious room and a kind and courteous staff. I highly recommend this hotel.

“Very Impressed”

Quality above price. It feels like a 5 star hotel. The staff does a great job. Next time we visit Austin we will stay there.
