The hotel was nicer than expected. The cleaning staff however was extremely loud at 8 in the morning and were quite rude.

Just a little vacation trip and 2 night stay

Posted Feb 24, 2015
Walking distance to 6th street, comfortable, clean, not too old or shabby and REASONABLE RATES - it's all we were looking for in a room and it fit the bill just fine.

We loved the convenience

Posted Feb 15, 2015
This hotel was very conveniently located across the street from the Frank Erwin center where we were going to a concert for. It was a close walk and convenient. The room itself was much cleaner than expected. I loved the fact they have hardwood floors. I would go back again for the price.

Walking distance to Capitol and 6th St restaurants

Posted Feb 13, 2015
Pros: Clean, friendly staff, easy access to freeway, close proximity to downtown Austin (walking distance)
Cons: my sheets had some small holes in them. They were clean, no problems there, but didn't like seeing holes in my sheets.
Location: walking distance to state capitol building, downtown 6th street area with its abundance of dining and clubs, bars and music cafes.
The guys behind the counter were super friendly and helpful in showing me where I could get the best Austin BBQ. The rooms have been updated from a Super8 I remember from years ago. The room was clean and I slept like a baby. The hotel has easy access to I-35 so you can get where ever you want very quickly.

Good Value

Posted Jan 31, 2015
Pros: Price
Cons: Air conditioner a little clunky. Cycled on and off way too much.
Location: BBQ trucks steps away.
Not the lap of luxury but it's super close to downtown / 6th st. Highly recommend for budget travellers.

For the price, this hotel is quite good.

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: Overall, the hotel price, convenience and location was perfect for my needs while in Austin on business.
Cons: The in room heating and air conditioning could be muffled. It's humming noise kept me awake until I turned it off.
Location: The location was perfect. I avoided slow moving I-35 major traffic via another route and made it to the airport, return the car and catch my flight.
I loved how close it was to the airport and to get to downtown venues. The room was beery clean and comfortable. Breakfast was what you expect at a motel. parking was free and convenienient. I did not like that the hotel clerk took a $50 deposit upon check in and when I checked out he made me wait while he asked someone to check out the condition of the room before my $50 was refunded.

Good location, must have car

Posted Jan 17, 2015
Pros: Price, ease of access and location. Acceptable level of cleanliness.
Cons: Day shift front desk should try to smile. Owner manager should stop hovering.
Location: East the neighborhood becomes dodgy, next major street south has good dining. 25 minute walk to the 6th street scene. Same west to capitol.
Hotel is well located and affordable. Day shift staff not helpful and definitely cold. Rooms are okay but highway noise can only be drowned-out by turning on the wall-mounted heater/air conditioner. Breakfast is basic, not place within a ten minute walk to serve as alternative. Need a car.

Good hotel

Posted Dec 20, 2014
The only inconvenience was that we couldn't check in until 3. Most places don't mind if you're a little early. Other than that the room was nice and comfortable. The iron was chained to the ironing board so that was a small bit annoying. And it's right off the highway so make sure you don't mind the sound of cars driving by all night.

Downtownから少し離れたモーテル

Posted Dec 18, 2014

Nice hotel close to downtown

Had a good time at the hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Flat screen TV and WiFi. Walk to Airport transportation stop takes approximately 5-7 minutes. CVS and mexican restaurant just on the other side of the street.
