“Very Impressed”

I was very impressed with the quality of this hotel. Everything about it was nice. The room was great. It had tons of space and didn't feel clutered. If i do go back to San Marcos, I will be styaing here.

“Convenient to everything "San Marcos"”

The room was very clean and smelled clean as soon as we opened the door. We had a king sized bed and it was very comfortable. Easy access to the highway, fast food and Texas State. Not too far from the outlet malls and it would be an easy drive to New Braunfels. Weather was too cold to enjoy the pool but it looked very nice as we walked by. Would definitely stay here again expecially for the price and location.

Hotel was adequate. Very comfortable bed for the price. Room clean and service good.

“VERY GOOD HOTEL FOR THE PRICE”

At first we thought the hotel would be run down or a little crappy, but to our surprise it was very nice,clean room. The woman at the front desk was there three of the days we stayed and she was extremely friendly,helpful , and nice! Even gave me some milk for cereal at 1 pm. when breakfast stopped at 10. LOVELY!

Comfortable,clean,quiet,safe,friendly place. I stayed 2 nights and everything was fine. I would stay again and the value for the price was excellent. Location is very convenient to Highway 35 to Austin or San Antonio. Plenty of stores and restaurants minutes away.

“Bugs found on bath matt”

The room was ok but I feel it was too pricey for accommodations. The parking lot was very small and only on one side of the hotel. When I was about to take a shower I unrolled the rubber bath mat and there was a dead bug stuck to it.

These were last minute reservations and there were not a lot of available choices in the area. This is my first time in a Super 8 and I won't stay again. The room was terribly overpriced due to the holiday weekend. The room, although relatively clean, had very worn carpet, an old bathroom in need of updating and very few outlets. Continental breakfast had few choices. Positives-staff was pleasant, quiet area, convenient location.

The room smelled of paint. The carpet was dirty and worn. Our room over looked an apartment complex.

“Super Bad 8 Motel in San Marcos, Texas”

The room deodorizer was so powerful we had to air the room out. The toliet did not work when we checked in, got it working for a few hours, then it was out of order again. Finally got it fixed the day we left. The maids turned off the refrigerator and our ice cream melted. The clock radio did not work. The day we left they were attempting to fix the huge motel sign near where our car was parked. A big piece of metal was loose which was barely hanging on with duct tape. A funky place that we do not plan to visit again.
