Graduation weekend
Posted Jan 29, 2013
Pros: I thought the pool area was nice... it gets lots of sunshine, water looked clear and plenty of seating.
Cons: see other response... earlier cont'l breakfast during grad weekends and another sign right before entrance off of I35
Location: worked ok for us... hoped for a walking distance restaurant but did not see... was able to find the Red Lobster near enough though and came back the b
it was graduation weekend so super busy, hotel was full. During Grad weekend Sat I think the continantal breakfast should be moved to start at 6am. We could not enjoy as grad time was 8am. Entrance off I35 could be a little more visable. The sign seemed to be blocked as but our parties passed it and then had to come back around. but of course that may just be the busyness of I35...

For family not so good....
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: Not a single
Cons: No Proper service, Rooms was full of smoky smell, no room freshener provided.
Location: all attractions were far from hotel except state capitol
Hotel WI-FI speed is horrible, not at all good. My Bathroom door was not having a lock from inside and I did the complaint to front desk but nobody attended.I was there for 2 nights and 3 days. its in highway so for restaurants you need to go at least 7 to 8 miles. Austin spots are not so near.. all spots are in range of 15 miles except State Capitol. For alone its good but with family not so good choice.. to just stay for a day its ok. rate is 74$ a day.. you will get 3 star hotel in 90$ to 100$ in Austin.

OK if you're passing through
Posted Jan 25, 2013
The hotel itself isn't bad, it's just located in a rougher part of town. I was hit up for cigarettes several times over the 4 days I stayed there, usually on my way to my car. In addition, there always seemed to be people hanging out in the parking lot. I didn't feel threatened or anything, but it was a bit disconcerting. Another element that I found odd was that you have to be buzzed in at night... really makes me think they've had some serious security issues in the past. The hotel itself was what I would expect out of a Super 8, no complaints there. The breakfast in the morning could have used more fruit (read: any at all would have been nice). The staff was friendly and courteous, Overall I think my next stay in Austin I will pay a little bit more to make sure I'm in a nicer area.

WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN
Posted Jan 21, 2013
Pros: NONE
Cons: WIFI
Location: AUSTIN, TEXAS I 35 NORTH
THERE WAS ONLY ONE ELEVATOR WORKING ON SUCH A BUSY WEEKEND. THEN THE ONLY WORKING ELEVATOR SUBSEQUENTLY STOPPED WORKING AND WAS FORCED TO USE THE STAIR. THE BREAKFAST WAS AWFUL. BOILED EGGS AND BREAD. BATHROOM TUB WOULDN'T DRAIN. SHOWER CURTAIN KEEP RUNNING DOWN ON ROD BECAUSE THE ROD IS SLANTED. BATHROOM SO SMALL YOU FEEL CRAMPED UP. POOL TOWELS WAS HARD LIKE A MECHANIC RAG.LIGHTS FIXTURES NEED REPLACING. HOTEL SMELL AWFUL FOR A NON-SMOKING HOTEL. ONLY 7 CHANNEL AVAILABLE TO WATCH. TV 15 YEARS OLD. NO FLAT SCREEN. BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THEIR WIFI SERVICE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

Do not recommend!

Pros: Nothing
We were very disappointed! One of the elevators was out of order and the other was very slow. The hotel room was extremely hot! The actual room had a funny smell but was ok to stay in.

Great location, unuseable internet, odd smells.
Posted Jan 20, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff level, condition
Location: Near 35, go downtown or down burnett, plenty to see.
Staff overwhelmed, internet barely functions, tube tv, weird smell, carpets and paint needed.

Quick stay
Posted Jan 19, 2013
The hotel room was clean. They were low on parking spaces so the manager moved her car so that I could park somewhere. so very friendly staff. We got there really late and left the next morning so we didn't spend a lot of time there.

Austin

Pros: Close to everything.
Cons: I guess continental breakfast means just that. But at least I wasn't starving when I left.
Location: Wal-mart is across the freeway and there's a mall about 8 miles down 183. Lots of places to eat that are close. Just ask the staff.
I was in Austin on business and the hotel was within 20 min of where I was going. I am coming back and will not hesitate to stay here. The staff was great and very friendly. You guys rock. Keep up the good work.
