“Convenient Suite Hotel”

The room was nice and the staff was friendly both on checkin and checkout. The hotel is close to quite a few businesses including a Whole Foods grocery store within walking distance which was nice for stocking up the kitchen. Several good restaurants are also within walking distance. Overall, the hotel was very convenient

“"Just Like Home"”

This hotel has the amenities of home. a kitchen with stove, microwave, sink, refrigerator and flatscreen televisions in the family room and each bedroom. It was clean, comfortable and affordable.

“SO-SO”

Ants in the room! 4th floor stair end of building! Is there anymore to say. My biggest problem is with Budget rental cars. I was given a car that did not meet the standards of my original rental. They charged me twice the original price. The car had constant maintanance, with customer care just telling me I should not of driven out of the lot. We were on a time line and there was not time to run back and forth to the check-in counter. Just driver beware!

“Will stay again”

The room was awesome. I was impressed by the mounted flat panel that swung conviently to face the bed. Very clean and modern decor. Highly Recommended.

“Clean and Comfortable”

The service was great, the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The only minus was that the front office, continental breakfast, and fitness center were in a different building than the rooms.

“My "first choice" hotel in Austin...”

Wonderful experience (again). The rooms (we had two) were very clean and well appointed, the staff was very friendly, and the location in northwest Austin was ideal. We (family of four) will definitely visit again--and, in fact, are planning to stay again next month.

Area recommendations

Northwest Austin (the Arboretum area) has many restaurants and shop and is wonderfully convenient to downtown but significantly less expensive.

“Ok place to stay in Austin”

Arrived Friday night of Memorial Day weekend at 11:30 PM -- room was ready and check-in was no problem. There were four of us and I was told by Expedia.com staff that the rooms in the suite would each have two queen size beds. The Expedia.com rep actually put me on hold during booking to confirm the number and size of beds in the room before I completed booking the room. However, there was only one queen bed per room in the suite. Even though I was registered with four guests in the suite, there were only towels and toiletries for two people. I was constantly hunting down housekeeping to get more towels and toiletries. The rooms are of modest quality and the common area of the suite is also of modest quality. Location of the hotel is very good being right off of MOPAC 1 and 183. All in all a cheap, satisfactory place to stay. You get what you pay for.

“MY STAY AT THE FABULOUS TOWNPLACE SUITES”

I really liked staying here & will look for Towneplace Suites anytime I am chosing a hotel. THe staff were very nice & the room was fabulous-it really wasnt a room, it was like an apartment. The hotel had a nice boutique feel, very nice beds, lots of great tv's. I really like the concept of a 2 bedroom hotel & LOVED that the bathroom was a room of its own. It didnt blend into the rooms so you werent worried about waking someone up in the morning or in the night going to the bathroom. The grab & go breakfast was fun to, they had bags to put all of your stuff in. It was your basic continental breakfast fare but with a bag to take them away in. The exercise area was nice, the laundry room was nice, there were plenty of towels & the hotel suite was very clean & very roomy. I couldnt have asked for a better room. My mother & I really enjoyed our stay. The beds were also very comfortbale, there was plenty of closet space & dressers in both rooms. I cant think of one negative thing to say about this place. Check out was as easy & pleasant as checking in. We wished we had been staying longer than one night.

Area recommendations

The hotel was right off the freeway (Mopac), very easy to find & close to a couple of shopping centers & a WHole Foods market. Great location! Great hotel! THis was in Austin in the Arboretum section-there was also a movie theater within walking distance.
