"Excellent Point of Departure to Downtown Austin"
My wife and I stayed overnight at the Hyatt Regency and were pleased by all its aspects. The staff was knowledgeable of the surrounding festivities and locales, and generally any place worth visiting in Downtown Austin. The room was perfectly agreeable, commodious and sanitary. I would recommend this hotel to any family and friends intent on wandering around the hotspots of Austin, while also insistent on returning to a pleasant overnight stay between daytime adventures.

"Loved this historic old hotel!"
This hotel is beautiful! All of the old architecture has been restored to its prior glamour. They have an incredible lounge that makes you feel like your back in the early 1900's with a piano player during happy hour. We stayed in the historic part of the building on the 4th floor. The room was absolutely enchanting. High ceilings with detailed crown molding. The bathroom was a little small, but very elegant (and actually modern). The bed was also comfortable. I wished we would have been able to stay longer!
