Great stay just not quite perfect
The Hotel was good and in a great position, the breakfast offering was good, the staff attention and attitude was excellent, the only downsides were we could not adjust the A/C and we were quite hot during the night despite moving the temp from 20 to 16 degrees it didnt change, and the bathroom was "ill organised" with the Sanita behind the door and the bidet in the middle of the bathroom (would have been better reversed) i kept stubbing my toe on the doorstop which was next to the sanita. quite painful, otherwise our stay was fine.

Nice 4 star hotel on the beachfront. Staff were kind & helpful. Breakfast you have a lot of choices but lack a bit of quality.

Nice comfy hotel very close to sea
LIke this hotel a lot. Stay here for business visiting nearby customer. Being so close to the ocean is great. Room clean and tidy with very comfy beds. Bathroom large and spacious and great shower Food good quality and not to expensive for a 4 star hotel. Staff friendly and helpful Gym equipment getting tired and not sorking and suana was cold.

Great experience
I stayed at this hotel for 3 days, my first visit to Portugal. The staff at this hotel were really friendly, and felt like old friends. The location is nice, walking on the promenade outside of the hotel was very relaxing and there are some nice restaurants nearby. The hotel has breakfast included and the options provided for breakfast were great. I would definitely stay here again.

Good small hotel, ideal for a quiet restful break
We stayed for 6 nights in April, having visited Porto this seemed ideal for a seaside trip, only a short drive from the city. Initially the small town of Furadouro was very quiet in the rain, but when the sun came out it was transformed with day trippers strolling along the beachfront promenade ! The hotel is good, with a lovely small pool and spa. Sea view rooms by far the best, to watch the wild Atlantic waves rolling in. We ate in the restaurant several times and everything was very good, the chef is excellent, plus the waiting staff are delightful (all the hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful). Breakfast is ok but unfortunately like so many hotels the coffee could be improved. The nearby town of Ovar is worth visiting, some interesting buildings and good places to eat.

Fantastic hotel with friendly staff
Boutique/designer style hotel combined with extremely warm and friendly staff made it a really wonderful place to stay for us. We had a room facing the sea and watched the sunset before dinner. Next day the breakfast was great in every respect. Was sad we were only there for one night - hope to return!

Our stay here was a last minute change in itinerary, from where we were booked, near Porto. We wanted an ocean view balcony, + needed two beds, as we were friends traveling together. What a nice surprise this place is! The hotel is eco-friendly and certified. The sea view rooms have a nice vista from the balcony, lots of storage, beautiful bathroom, good beds. The team of professionals working here want to make sure that your stay is comfortable. They really consider themselves a team. Almost all the staff speak some English. The customer service is excellent. Breakfast buffet is lovely, especially if you like sweets. The food is excellent, reasonably priced, and there's a nice wine list. The indoor pool is small, but nice. The spa therapists are very skilled. We took advantage of several treatments over the six nights we stayed. Furadouro is pretty quiet in middle of May. Nice place to relax. We didn't have a car, but the town of Ovar is only 10 minutes by taxi. Taxi from Porto airport was about 65euros. Can't wait to return!

Brilliant location opposite the Atlantic Ocean. Cycle hire next door to the hotel with miles of cycle paths. Beautiful lagoon only 3 miles away. 45 train journey in to Porto.

Lovel stay, great hotel, nice aspect if you have a sea facing room - not so exciting if you face into the town. Excellent service, good breakfast, if you need a hotel for a business stayin the area this is a good choice.

disappointing stay @ Boutique Hotel
Having seen all the big chains with their high standards we expect a bit more / a special touch when we chose for a "Boutique" Hotel and we're also willing to pay a higher price for it ... What we like / expect in a Boutique Hotel is (examples) : a welcome drink, someone who carries your luggage to the room, a personal talk what we would like to do or to see, what our expectations are, ... We were disappointed: the staff is friendly but the service is very amateurish. We had to ask for toilet paper once because the staff didn't add (the same with soap, conditioner, body lotion, ... ). When it's fully booked, breakfast in the morning is real chaos ; you have to wait for a free spot, not enough cutlery, glasses... We had dinner just once in the restaurant ... a hundred little issues ... the waiter poured water in a wine glass, saw his mistake, and poured the water from the wine glass in the water glass, ... i had to stop him pouring wine in a glass (i nearly got a bucket), ... so overall, from a price/quality point of view i would not recommend this hotel to a friend

Great Hotel and good service. Restaurant is also good and not so expansive. Be careful if you drive yourself, navigation brought us to a totally different place... Best option is to type - Furadoro Beach... I guess they only have twin beds, we asked to 'make them' as double but it did not work out (though it should be possible).

O quarto do hotel é confortável. No entanto, não pode ser considerado um hotel 4 estrelas. Já é um hotel que necessita de obras. Apesar de ser um hotel spa, há opções melhores para “escapadinhas” românticas. O recepcionista é bastante simpático.

Nice hotel but doesn’t worth the price
Very nice hotel. Very nice sea view. But the service is not a level expected in regards of the price. Swimming pool: you need to buy a cap at 5€. Sauna: was cold as the guy was too busy to turn it on. Parking: paid 10€ for hotel parking as the guy did not tell me there many free parkings around. Restaurant : he suggested 3 to me…all closed. Breakfast: good but to enjoy it on the room balcony you need to pay room service (even if I offered to take the plate by myself). Price really not in line with the service provided
