Nice pool
We stayed here one night. The room itself wasn't bad but someone had previously been smoking in the bathroom as it stunk of stale cigarette smoke, and I really should have asked for another room. We found the Wifi was non-existent on the standard network until we got the owner to hook us up on the 2.4ghz network in the hotel. He put the password in our devices himself....Then the Wifi was good. We had a swim in the pool which was really nice. There was aircon in the room but it didn’t seem to work very well. There was also a fan in the room which I guess was to make up for the poor aircon. It was a hot night so we had to have a window open all night.

The hotel was fine in itself, but needed modernising, a lick of paint and the air con needed repairing. Would a hotel in a cold climate not have the heating working during the winter months?

Nice town
Hotel was ok and in a convenient place. We had one towel each and none for the pool. Place needed a revamp and a good cobweb cleaning session. breakfast was good shame about the price though

Cheap and very cheerful.
Stayed here as we wanted to spend the morning viewing and photographing the Millau Bridge and really enjoyed our stay. Friendly and helpful staff and good facilities including a good priced restaurant where we had breakfast and dinner. The only reason I have marked the hotel down was due to the smell of urine round the toilet in our room which was the result of a difficult to clean floor covering and men using the toilet.

we found the hotel very easily as its right next to the main road on the way into Millau, but we didn't have any road noise in our rooms, we were the only guests at the hotel which was a bit strange, the owner was busy renovation the Grill Bar so that wasn't available, so we had to walk into town, rooms big and clean bathrooms clean and fresh only complaint was paper cups to make a cup of tea in the room, and the beds were very hard, My husband and i hardly slept all night, breakfast was 5.50 Eruos and consisted of 1 Croissant, 1 dry piece of bread, marmalade and nutella portion and a puree pot juice and tea again served in a small paper cup, all served on a plastic tray, not really appetising it was ok for a 1 night stay in a budget hotel but i wouldn't go there again or recommend this hotel,

Stopped on way up from Perpigan to Dieppe. Have used the hotel bewfore. Bedroom fine, breakfast very poor value. Handy fro McDonalds across the road 5.50 euros for a coffee juice and a croissante with no jam or butter.

I traveled up from Barcelona and booked this hotel from trip advisor a couple of hours from Millau , basically on the photos and that it had a restaurant as I needed an evening meal. When I arrived I was told the restaurant was closed probably due to the hotel being nearly empty evident from the number of room keys still hung up at 8pm . The overall impression of the hotel was that it was very tied and needed updating this was confirmed when I saw the room (please see photos) . Although there was a no smoking sign on the door the room smelt of stale smoke, in the morning after having the window open all night it did smell a little better. The ceiling light was missing the glass cover but the proprietor had left it on top of the 'wardrobe' should the occupants fancy trying to repair it , evidence of the gaffer tape still on it from a previous attempt. There was a hair in the sink and the bathroom was tatty as can be seen from the photos. The breakfast was adequate at best. I had to ask one of the cleaners to fetch someone to reception so I could check out. Overall very dissapointed and would not recommend staying here .

Hotel in food position in Millau near to supermarket and McDonald's. The facilities are clean bur are tired the bathroom especially need complete refurbishment

OK for an overnight stay but would not use again
Restaurent and pool area were good but our room was in need of refurbishment. The showerhead would not stay in the holder with the result that water sprayed over the floor. The carpets felt sticky to walk on.We were offered a room change but as we had unpacked and were only there for one night we did not bother. Maybe we were unlucky with the room we had.

This hotel is located just at the edge of Milau and close to the Milau viaduct visitor centre. Rooms are very comfortable, especially the bed. Although it was just the two of us, I felt this hotel would be great for a family holiday. There were lots of options things to do. Location was great also; walking distance from Milau, short drive from Milau viaduct visitor centre and lots of other vantage points nearby to take great photographs of the viaduct. The view from the room itself (of Milau) was beautiful.

As there was only one lady on reception who was also covering as a waitress in the restaurant she was under pressure- although polite she did manage to smile eventually ( maybe it was my school-attempt at French!) The following morning when we wanted to check out the receptionist/waitress ( a different one from the night before) was busy taking orders and serving breakfast, when she did arrive at the reception I was greeted with "I told the man I was coming" -I told her the man was not mine. She was very surly and unwelcoming. I would suggest that if this hotel wants to keep customers coming then they have to employ more staff.

Good place for a night stop
The Hotel was nice enough however the staff were not really bothered if you stayed or went.. With this in mind we decided not to eat there but go into town where there are lots of good places to eat. We were only there for one night, the beds were comfortable, pillows horrible but overall it was clean and tidy. Very close to the Bridge, which is why we were there and the town. Millau is a very pretty place with it's surrounding mountains and hills.

Clean linen, cleanish rooms, bit of a tatty feel within the "living" area of the hotel. I have a sneaking suspicion that our lack of French was viewed with disdain and the receptionist looked visibly burdened by the effort to talk to us at times. This is not an entirely scathing review, however, as the outdoor/bar area was rather nice for circa €60 euros and was suitable for an overnight stay enroute to Spain. We ordered food in the evening - two steaks - which were very tasty, washed down with the house red just by the pool and the breakfast was also good. The wireless Internet didn't work and probably won't be working when you arrive. The receptionist blamed the rain but this wasn't the problem; she has it unsecured so very easy with a little technical know-how to interfere with the router config. If you speak French, ask her to try turning it off and on again, just for starters :) So in summary, if this is a pass-through, overnight kind of stay, you could do worse than to stay here, but not recommended for a long stay or if looking for French luxury (at least in your suite). Recommended for French speakers.

Not worth repeating
To be honest we weren't expecting too much and the hotel met our expectations. We arrived at about 8:30pm to be told off by the receptionist/manageress for not telephoning to advise them that we were running late - apparently they would have given our room away if some other poor unsuspecting travellers had turned up. It didn't seem relevant that they had our mobile phone number on the booking. Not too warm a welcome then and no chance of food as the restaurant was no longer taking any orders. There isn't any other restaurant within walking distance of this hotel (except McDonalds). Location suited us though as it was easy to get in and out for an early start and pretty easy to get to the bridge but really not a lot more going for it. Room was basic, adequate but felt grubby due to its condition. Hardly a word let alone any smiles at check-out. Would recommend looking for a hotel in Millau itself if you are staying in the area.

Millau Hotel Club - see the Viaduc
On the edge of town and convenient for the motorway and the Millau Viaduc - which is breathtaking. Very friendly staff. Free Wi-fi was temperamental in the room but fine in the pool/bar area. Good menu of the day for 13 Euros. Pool open till at least 11pm, which was a boon after a long drive from Spain. The only one of 8 hotels on this trip with tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. Air con worked fine and hotel was quiiet at night. Would stop there again, and explore the town next time.

Nous somles encore revenus
Ca fait plus de 10 ans que nous nous arrêtons environs 1 fois par an (parfois il s'ecoule 2 ans) à Millau et depuis que nous avons découvert cet hotel nous decidons de revenir à chaque occasion. Pourtant nous avons vu au moins 3 proprietaires differents, mais nous apprecions toujours. Donc cette année nous avons aimé les chambres calmes (nous donnions sur les terrains de sport), l'accueil bien que les hôtes soient un peu réservés par rapport au standard de l'exhuberance méridionale, le café du petit dejeuner (attention : il reveillerait un cheval mort, donc demandez un café allongé si vous craignez le café fort). Nous avons juste regretté de ne pas avoir amené un maillot de bain pour tester la piscine en cette fin Avril ! Il faut savoir être audacieux :) Et la region est magnifique.

Bon accueil. Le matin du 1er mai, au petit dejeuner, la proprietaire a offert un bouquet de muguet à toutes les dames. Un petit geste d'attention agréable. Nous revenons tous les 1 à 2 ans dans la région pour un des longs weekends de printemps et nous avons toujours été enchanté avec les proprietaires successifs depuis une vingtaine d'années. Et je ne dois pas être le seul : un groupe de copains motards avaient l air d'être familiers de la maison. Pas d'inquiétude à avoir , il s'agissait de ces motards tranquilles qui roulent pour se promener et qui ne roulent pas des mécaniques. Discrets en plus, nous n'avons entendu aucun bruit, ni d'eux ni de la route. Excellente situation pour visiter les Causses.
