Fabulous position

Pros: We liked the food and the friendly waiters and when we bought the chefs cookery book she signed it for us . Gracias Pilar!
Cons: We could not get wifi in our room we had to go to reception.
Location: As we only overnight on our way down South and returning to catch the ferry we just walk and shop inside the walls of the city. Lovely shops !
A great place to stay if you have a dog and want to park your car. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. This is our third stay here.

Perfect for a visit to Avila

Posted Feb 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
This budget minded hotel is located very close to the main entry into the old city of Avila. Room was basic was good value. Within 20 minute's walk to RENFE station. Staff was helpful especially a gentlemen that worked the evening shift. He gave me a whole history lesson on Avila. I would recommend for a night or two.

Great Location!

This hotel was right at the city wall at an incredible gate. The parking in the garage was a little tight, but was convenient. Our room, a triple, was very large with 3 beds and a sofa. The staff was very helpful and everything we wanted to visit was just a short walk from the hotel.

Nice, simple, friendly hotel located right next to the walls of Avila

Posted May 19, 2010
This was a nice hotel at a very reasonable price. The staff is lovely. They don't speak much English but we got by with my poor Spainsh. The only problem we had was getting the heat to work in the room as it was very cold while we were thete in May. It even snowed on the way there! The hotel is next to a park with good views of the valley and the famous walls of Avila. I would go back.
