1980's hotel in need off modernisation

Posted Jun 29, 2014
This hotel was just ok. We were walking the camino and hotel was located on the route although there is nothing really in the place of note - it's about 3 km from estella. Cafe food was good and cheap. Hotel was very tired and was no doubt good in the 70's/80's when it was built but needs bringing up to date.

A good camino stopover

Excellent in all respects apart from absence of reception staff on arrival (admittedly mid-afternoon , out of season). Food was particularly good.

A luxury stay for pilgrims

Posted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Room
Location: On the Camino, so perfect.
A great hotel on the route of the Camino de Santiago. We had a large, beautiful room and the staff were we're helpful indeed. Good breakfast also. I would recommend the hotel definitely.

A Break on the Camino

Posted Jun 20, 2011
We were walking the Camino de Santiago, and stayed at the Irache. The hotel is right on the Camino, which makes it quite convenient. The staff did not speak much English, but tried very hard to meet our needs (we didn't speak Spanish). The hotel has a nice outdoor area to have a drink, and the food was good in the restaurant. Overall, the hotel was a nice break on the Camino.
