Attended a wedding as Best Man and Fairfield was actually my second option as the wedding venue had overbooked on rooms. The staff were brilliant, even helping me print off a copy of my speech which had disappeared an hour before the rituals! Would recommend to anyone and great value for money.

Recently came back from my brothers wedding in Ayr. I would like to say that this hotel was truely beautiful. It was that beautiful I suggested my brother should stay there after his wedding. which he has in my room. Room 4 was huge with high ceilings and really attractive decor. All the staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to help. I will definitely stay here again.
The hotel is conveniently located next to the train station and only 3 minutes walk to the town centre. The rooms are extremely large especially the bathroom which is definitely the largest i have seen in a hotel. Rooms have all amenities you would expect from a 3 star hotel. The wireless connection in the room I stayed in was very poor however this was down to the fact my room was a long way from reception. The full scottish breakfast was very nice and came with haggis which was a nice touch. The close proximity to the train station did not pose a problem with noise as you might expect. I only noticed hearing one train about 7pm one night. Overall my experience was very good.
