“Not Bad at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Website said check-in at 2pm let us check in early. We were shown to our room and even had the door opened for us! Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. Friendly helpful staff!!! Prefect if traveling from Prestwick Airport! We were down in the area for a wedding and had no probs getting to our from the hotel by taxi

“Good value for money but poor staff service”

Basic but clean and comfortable for excellent value for money. However, information about facilities not forthcoming at check-in. We had to chase staff in charge of the breakfast to turn up only to get abrupt service. The latter may possibly be due to under-staffing - but this might be the price to pay for a cheap room.

“A very strange experience.”

One of the strangest hotels I have ever been to. The main building had been well refurbished and felt very grand - but even although it was clear that the hotel was not busy - our allocated rooms were in one of the 3 annexes to the main building. The rooms themselves were clean and functional but very spartan and not at all welcoming. The annexes felt like boarding school dormatories and were totally out of character compared to the main hotel building, It didn't bother us much as we were using the hotel as a base to visit friends and family in the surrounding area but Adamton House would not be my first choice for any return visit. Very odd!
