Firstly the people are wonderful, nothing was too much, a very fine couple. Secondly the house and rooms were perfectly clean and furnished to the highest level. Thirdly this is now our home from home when we visit Ayr.

Beautiful house with tip top amenities. Owner was very friendly and welcoming and it was a very pleasant overnight stay. Would love for it to have been longer.....maybe next time! Room was very comfortable and there were well thought out little extras just to make our stay even more pleasing.

Fantastic Guest HousePosted Aug 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
We visited Greenan Lodge for 2 nights, in August, on our tour of the west coast of Scotland. The owners, Helen and Allan, are very welcoming and helpful. On Helen's advice we went for a evening meal to hotel down the road which led to a memorable experience with a baked alaska and what I can only describe as a roman candle. The guest house itself is easy to find, the rooms very clean and spacious. The cooked breakfast is wonderful and filling. All in all a fantastic guest house run by a brilliant couple. Would recommend it to anyone wishing to visit the area.

This is a delightful B&B. Spotlessly clean. We had a lovely breakfast, cooked to order and delivered with a smile....what more could you ask for? We would definitely stay again and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.
