Fabulous hotel, very attentive staff who were very thoughtful as travelling with a young child and a lovely atmosphere. The sea view is unbelievable.

Luxury break totally worth it

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: Luxury, great service
Cons: Nothing, everything was immaculate
Location: Good for golfers, or people just wanting to laze about watching the view
I saved up to book a suite to stay at Trump Turnberry which was completely worth it. Any issues with the room were quickly remedied. Only slight inconvenience was all the work being done to overhaul the hotel like the walkway to the spa being closed, which was fine on the sunny day we were there but I could imagine would be a bit of a downer in the rain.

Beautiful hotel in outstanding setting

Posted Oct 19, 2014
Pros: Appearance, and friendly staff. A regular shuttle bus runs between the hotel and the golf clubhouse.
Location: Beautiful setting overlooking the golf course and the sea, but not all rooms have a view. The hotel has plenty of activities available.
Enjoyed our stay from start to finish. A genuinely friendly welcome on arrival. The hotel has class without feeling stuffy, perhaps because it's home to so many golf parties. We had some minor problems such as a bath that wouldn't drain away, but one phone call and it was sorted immediately. The downside of course is that it is expensive to stay in, but there are a number of offers available throughout the year. Donald Trump has already made some positive improvements, and according to staff we spoke to, has plans to upgrade the hotel over the winter. This was our first stay in the Turnberry, but we have already booked a return visit in November.

Everything was as amazing as it used to be - over the last 45 years we have stayed several times. Good value - hope prices don't go beyond our reach!

Location: National Trust Culzean Castle nearby is worth a visit.
Thoroughly enjoyed our overnight at this stunning location. Enhanced by beautiful views made all the more spectacular with sunshine and blue skies. The relaxed, helpful and professional approach of the staff was appreciated. The Restaurant was well organised for breakfast and the food was beautifully prepared.

Pros: Staff in hotel and restaurants/bars
Cons: Air conditioning in the rooms and easier to get around
Location: Lighthouse, castles, robbie burns ec
