The Lenox Hotel is a wonderful hotel, the proximity to restaurants, shopping and local universities is perfect! Plenty of public parking in the area. It is a quick stroll to Newberry street for dining and top notch shopping. The staff here is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast in the hotel wa excellent. Definitely give it a try!

I met a friend for just one night at the Lenox and everything was perfect. Gym is small but really has everything you need. Great shopping on Newbury Street just blocks away. Will definitely be back to the Lenox!

I booked a room for my family member. He is so glad that the room is lovely, comfortable and quiet (except for the intermittent sound from the air-conditioning system for which he needs to wear earplugs for sleep as he is a light sleeper). It is very conveniently located, within walkable distance to Back Bay Station and to the Logan Express stop. The staff are very nice. Food in the restaurants is good. He enjoyed the stay there.

Despite an electrical issue (blown transformer outside) earlier today; the hotel has power, checked me in without issue and secured me a local recommendation for dinner where I scored a bar seat at Ramsey Kitchen (yup, Gordon Ramsey!) and had amazing wine, food and service! I hung out for 3 hours and indulged. The hotel loved my room upon return at my request without issue and everything is as terrific as the last time I stayed in December.

Great service! We were in the city to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Marcus at the front desk check in was making small talk and caught that bit of information. Next thing you know we’re unpacking and there is a knock on the door. A bottle of wine and two chilled glasses compliments of the Lenox to help celebrate the birthday weekend.

Disappointing
The service from the staff is amazing and the location in Boston is amazing, but the rooms were disappointing. The tv was broken, it had two blue lines going through it, like someone had hit it at some point. And the bathroom door would not stay closed. No matter how hard you pushed it closed or if you locked it, the door popped open by itself within seconds of closing it. The bed’s headboard had scratches in it and tiny holes as well, almost like a dog was scratching and chewing it up. Also like other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are outdated/older which is disappointing for a 4 and a 1/2 star hotel in a prime Back Bay location. Overall, the service from the staff, convenient location, and cleanliness were the only things I enjoyed here during my one night stay. Also this might be too picky, but they could position the bed to see the city/potentially the Prudential Tower while laying down, felt like a missed opportunity with the way it’s currently faced so you see a wall of the Lenox.
