Turns out it’s right beside the Bad Reichenhall opera hall and a very cool massive old wooden structure that I could quite figure out the name of!

The hotel is modern and clean and staff were friendly. Location is great, and views from the rooms are lovely. One thing to be aware of is that there is no air con, so the rooms can get quite warm in summer, and they do also add an additional charge for parking.

As a unique selling point we see the exposed location of our hotel: directly at the graduation house of the spa park Bad Reichenhall. Our Private Spa offers the stressed contemporary three different saunas and an extensive rest area. An opulent breakfast buffet awaits him in the pitoresque Art Nouveau ambience. Beautiful hotel located short walk from the downtown/pedestrian areas with beautiful gardens, restaurants, cafe/bars, beer gardens, ice cream, etc. Plese note - breakfast was included in our Expedia reservation. Parking was not. The hotel has limited parking and you must reserve it in advance. There is pay parking on the street. Breakfast was wonderful. Note the Family Room has fold out chairs for two (2) twin size beds in addition to the main queen bed.

Galerie Hotel Bad Reichenhall is located 5 minutes walk from the centre of town and is set next to some beautiful gardens making for very picturesque and peaceful feel. We found the facilities of the hotel very good and staff very friendly. We would definitely stay at the hotel again

Thank you for feedback. We do charge EUR 7,50 / night for a parking space in order to regulate the limited capacity as we are located very central. If you do require a parking space direct at our hotel please contact us and reserve one in front of to make sure we do have one available for you at arrival. We of course will inform you at the hotel about alternative parking facilities.

It smells a little funny when you first get there due to the garden next door but after a couple hours youre used to it. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating. Can't wait til my next trip there

Nice stay
This small hotel is well kept. The room is a good size, enough for two adults and one child. Breakfast is good, plenty of hot and cold food. The hotel is well located, there are some restaurants around it a a few grocery stores a few blocks away. We used our car so can't say how easy is to get around in public transportation. This area is about 20 minutes outside Salzburg with plenty of activities and places to visit near by. The only thing that I have to say is that when the hotel is all booked is a little hard to find parking place at the hotel and you have to look on the street where the hours are limited.

Lovely hotel close to town but also very quiet
Fantastic hotel right near the centre of the town, just a stroll through a park and you’re in the town. The staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean and modern. The only one thing I could have picked up on was the fact the sauna part was a extra €5 a day to use, apart from that I would definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again if in that area.

Great hotel but shame about the Plummimg!
Lovely hotel in a great position right beside the Kurpark. Adequate parking facilities and friendly staff. There were a couple of small things which could have been better, the shower head was not fixed properly and could not be adjusted. Sufficient extra pillows were unavailable. There wasn’t always enough white bread rolls at breakfast and on one occasion there wasn’t a selection of eatable fruit. The one apple available for two days was soft and unappetising. The location is excellent and handy for the town and a 5 minuet walk to a great pub with Bavarian food in Salzburger Straße.

Beautiful hotel, room is very spacious, very clean with its own balcony across from the garden. Everything in walking distance. Breakfast was also great, nice variety of coffee, breads, cold cuts & eggs. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very njce, but a little warm...
Everything was good. The restaurant was shutdown, but that was not a problem. Located in a very nice neighborhood, right next to a very nice park. The only negative was that even though it was very early June, the room was quite warm (no air conditioning).

Next to the Kürpark
Very pleased with our stay here. Alongside the Kürpark literally next to the park. Complementary sun beds and chairs available. Room was spacious and clean. Only issue was the BBC news channel wasn’t available on our tv.

Great getaway!
We had a great weekend at Galerie Hotel! The room was very comfy and clean! The wellness area was extremely pleasant so was the service! We also had some good food at the restaurant! We really enjoyed our stay!

It was a a great spot to stay after a long day. The staff were extremely helpful, even offered to help unload our car to our room. The room was very nice. The breakfast was good too!

Hotel only for those who speak German
ThIs is a lovely town full of victorian area houses. Hotel was comfortable but everything was only in German: menus, sinage, staff. Only 1 person spoke any English. All guests were German. This was a problem for us as my husband doesn't speak or understand German and I speak only a little German. We would not go there again as we felt very " out of place".

A cycle tour stopover. Having a corner room a huge bonus due to a warm day and evening. Overlooking the car park and hotel's beverage storage area not quite so great. The positive of this position was no smoking under our windows! Enormous bathroom and lovely room. Great breakfast, perfect location - what more could you want!

Bad Reichenall bueatiful clean small city surrounded by snow capped mountains. Retirement community oriented so in the off season some things are closed or early hours, few tourists and very quiet. Rather relaxing. Salzburg nearby, mountain lookouts, eagles nest salt mines, cultural activities spas etc. All close by. Would highly recommend a visit in season but we were pleased to enjoy some quiet down time in an excellent boutique hotel at a value price.

Lovely hotel located in the town centre. Lovely town to explore with a big social element on the go. A big downer for us was the receptionist. We tried our best in German but inevitably had to revert to English. Whilst the lady on reception understood what we were saying, she only spoke in German so made things very difficult to check in but got there in the end. Food was good but the same problem experienced on ordering food.

So so hotel, quite next to beautiful park
So so hotel that calls itself a "spar" because it has a swimming pool. Note that the main picture shown on hotels.com is actually a picture of the very beautiful park next door. Parking is free but limited, no problem finding paid parking on the street but that could get pricey. In the middle of nowhere so at least 20 minute drive to get anywhere. The town itself isn't exactly "jumping" but it seemed to have one of two restaurants and cafes. The hotel has a bar, and some outside seating. The room was average, but functional and quite large. No A/C, during the hottest summer on record. I found the attitude of a young member staff downright rood -- completely ignoring me in favor of her phone. The rest of the staff were efficient and pleasant. The breakfast was OK with the usual fish (one day salmon), various meats cereals and fresh bread. Coffee, tea etc. This seemed to be a hotel for Germans that wanted a quite getaway, and enjoyed the concerts in the adjacent park (which we did). Although their description says multi-lingual, that tended to be not true for all the staff. Of the half-dozen hotels we stayed in during our Germany trip, this was the most unwelcoming.

We had chosen this hotel based on the photo which looks like it has beautiful grounds and is outside of the town. We were surprised and disappointed to find a square yellow building at the end of the street. The photo in this ad is actually of Rupertus salt spa and wall next door - had the weather been better it would have been a lovely place to walk and sit. Only 1/2 the rooms have balconies. Initially we were given a room with a balcony that was just a little above the parking so we were changed to the third floor where we did have a lovely view of the mountains. The breakfast was good, rooms clean and comfortable and staff helpful. They advised we go to a typical Gasthaus around the corner for dinner. It was so much fun we went there both nights. Beautiful scenery, lovely baths to relax for an afternoon, a great place to go when you are tired of sightseeing and need a few days to rejuvenate.
