Good location 10 minutes from FrankfurtPosted May 20, 2014
Pros: The outside patio area, walking paths..etc The food was very good- especially the breakfast buffet
Cons: Friendlier front desk staff! :)
Location: It is a charming German village- everything within walking distance: bakeries, shopping, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs... Lovely!
This hotel is more American oriented, and we had hoped for more of a traditional German feel. The food was delicious. Sadly, some of the front desk staff were snooty, as this is more of a conference center geared toward wealthy business people (my husband and I were simply there to visit my son and take a belated honeymoon!) but everyone else was wonderful- especially housekeeping!! The grounds and park behind the hotel are beautiful. Walking paths and fountains... Everything within walking distance, bakeries, shopping, restaurants, pubs...The town people were very welcoming! Bad Soden is a charming place to stay!

Nice hotel in a nice areaPosted Apr 14, 2014
Pros: Good location, clean room, helpful staff.
Location: Location near to the train station which takes 15 mins into town. Lovely park next door and nice restaurants in the area.
Really nice hotel in a lovely surrounding overlooking a park. It's near a train station which is 15mins from the town centre. We stayed there as we were going to the surrounding area so other hotels may be more central. Rooms clean and have all amenities. Would recommend the hotel and would stay again.

Expected more!Posted Apr 9, 2014
Cons: Wi-fi English speaking personnel.
Really bad. I booked this hotel as I did stay a few years ago. I had very important things to send via email and when I got there the person at the counter which by the way did not speak English, told us that there were not internet bouchers therefore I needed to wait till next day!!!! I urgently needed to send some important information from my company email and I couldn't!!!! I tried to pay for it and it was impossible. The worst part about it is that the next day when I got the free internet boucher, it did not worked! There were a lot of people complaining about it when checking out.

Helpful manageressPosted Feb 12, 2014
Pros: Rather dated 90s style architecture and decor, but that is of no consequence if you just want a business hotel with a comfortable bed and breakfast
Cons: They should include a shuttle bus service to the fair even if there is a charge, but there may not be enough demand
Location: Bad Soden is a typical dull German suburb, but decent restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, especially the German pub on the main road
Our expedia booking was lost which caused an unwelcome delay to our late arrival; but the manageress still found us good rooms. Unfortunately there was no shuttle bus to the fair that should have been organised because of the bad delays on the trains. However, in normal circumstances the 5 minute walk through the park to the station is a pleasure and the fairground is only a further 25 minutes IF the trains are running on time!

Ideal hotel to use as base for visiting TaunusPosted Jan 26, 2014
Pros: Convenient hotel for Frankfurt City, Airport and Main Taunus region. It was also very clean and the room and beds comfortable.
Cons: Lacking (as many continental hotels) tea/coffee making facilities within the room.
Location: Bad Soden is quiet but with sufficient well priced restaurants for anyone willing to walk for between 2 and 10 minutes.
The hotel is predominantly one used for business meetings/conferences but we found it ideal to use as a base for visiting Frankfurt and other places in Main Taunus. The area was known to us, so we had not intended to use the hotel for anything other than a base for seeing local friends. We were fortunate with friends having cars at our disposal - otherwise I believe parking charges would apply - but with the S-Bahn and buses only 5-7 minutes walk away it was easy for anyone needing to use public transport. Frankfurt city centre was approximately a 25 minute train journey. Train travel isn't particularly cheap - probably on a par with the UK - so hotel and location not for anyone on a very tight budget. However, the hotel room was excellent value for money. It was clean, functional and modern. Hotel staff were very helpful and the airport courtesy was an option available for anyone wanting quick (15 minutes from airport) transportation at less than half the cost of a taxi.

Quiet hotelPosted Dec 30, 2013
Pros: Location to town facilities.
Cons: Generally the room was very hot and could not be changed. The heating control needs attention.
Comfortable room, clean.

Convenient HotelPosted Dec 3, 2013
Pros: Location being easy walk to the rail station, all the facilities of Bad Soden and being adjacent to the lovely park.
Cons: Staff were efficient but needed to go to another level for the friendly stakes!
Location: Great to visit all of the Taunus mountains and the exclusive town and shopping areas plus very easy to take the train into Frankfurt.
