Pros: o.k if you have a car
Location: isolated, about 15min drive to Badajoz
The hotel is a bit isolated, restaurant unpredictable (open or closed) room's good. free parking & Wi-Fi.

Only problem was air conditioning in room was turned of making the room very hot. Even with A/C running from my arrival time room was still uncomfortable to sleep in.

A comfortable hotel off the beaten tourist pathPosted Aug 7, 2010 on Hotels.com
This hotel was very nice and comfortable. It is a ways outside of town, so don't expect much within walking distance etc. We very much enjoyed the clean swimming pool and the excellent buffet, replete with local wine selection. Friendly staff and clean rooms with hot showers and excellent water pressure.

You get what you pay.Posted Apr 19, 2010
Sad to say, the hotel is old and in need of an urgent redecoration. The rooms have old carpet, old tvs, old everything. But I do have to say it was very cheap (not at all what you expect from a 4 star hotel), but of course, it should be a 4 star hotel either. I can say the people at the front desk and at the restaurants were great in every way. They even agreed to cancel our return stay planned for a few days later, when they saw how unsatisfied we were with the hotels furnishings.

Good option for an overnight stayPosted May 15, 2008
A hotel designed for business travellers with limited and impersonal bar / breakfast area. Good points are: Free Internet, free mini-bar in room and a very good meal at dinner. Less good: no suitable lounge seating facility and limited offer from the bar. Despite really hot day pool was not open for use. No secure parking but somewhat compensated by monitoredparking bays outside (some with a roof).

Confortel Badajoz is a nice, clean and fairly priced hotel. A bit disappointed that the pool was not yet ready for use at the time we were there (06/05/06). Front desk staff speaks English and are helpful in recommending restaurants in town. Just be aware that the hotel is located in the outskirts of Badajoz, nowhere near city center, which actually makes it a nice and quiet place to stay. Just hope that others staying in the hotel are quiet and respectful.
