Good location, better service

Clean and functional. Very responsive staff. Left a charger in our room and didn't miss it until we were too far away to go back. The staff found it and took the time to mail it to us. Thank you!

Very nice hotel.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing
Location: very accessible to tourist attractions, restaurants & downtown.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was excellent. Very clean with all the amenities. It was decorated nicely & looked as if it had been recently updated. We even had an electric fire place in the room which added some ambiance. Extremely enjoyed this room!! One of the best places we've ever stayed.

You could stay here if you had to

Posted Jul 18, 2015
Pros: The management accommodated our request to move rooms, but I would have preferred a refund for our second night.
Location: Don't stay in Wall if you can help it. It's not a great town, even the water is weird there.
I didn't notice this on Expedia, but I was able to upgrade for a very reasonable fee to a room with 3 beds so I didn't have to listed to the kids fight all night about who was touching who. That was a big plus. Our first room had a saggy bed with trash under it and the shower was a bit dingy. You could hear the highway and all your neighbors through the walls. We were moved to a second room in the main building for the second night and it was much better. I had to check out the room first because the lobby has an odd smell and I wanted to make sure it wasn't in the rooms too (it wasn't). The breakfast was okay but not amazing. I was really disappointed with the weak coffee with no real creamer (your choices are powder or low-fat milk). We went out for breakfast the second morning. The town of Wall is not great itself so I guess my expectations should have been lower. There wasn't any other place in town that appeared nicer. If you are visiting Badlands for the day make the drive from Rapid City. If you are planning 2 days definitely camp in the park or stay in the town of Interior. It's not a nice town either, but at least it's close to the park activities and you can easily go back for the night sky viewing they have or see the animals at dusk when they are more active.

Cons: Die Zahlungseingänge Hotel-Expedia verbessern.
Location: Gut für einen Zwischenstopp. In der Nähe von Badlands NP, Mt. Rushmore usw.

Wouldn't stay here again!

The TV's audio didn't work (it sounded like it had a blown speaker, but the staff said it was an issue with the cable box. They came up at almost midnight and spent a half hour trying to fix it but couldn't figure it out.) So we had no TV. And the Wi-Fi didn't work, so we had no internet. So after almost 11 hours of driving, we checked into our room (which was advertised as having cable TV and Wi-Fi), collapsed on the bed and stared at the ceiling until we fell asleep. The worst part about it was, the next morning when we called to talk to the manager about some of the issues we had, instead we got a really obnoxious clerk at the front counter. He smugly said "Most people know, what ya need to do is reset the routers inside your iPad." When we tried to explain to him that iPads do not have routers inside of them, he got extremely angry and said "You wanna step down to the front desk, sir?!" in an aggressive tone. When we told him that no, we needed to get on the road, he barked "You wanna step down to the front desk, sir?!" We laughed it off and went about our business but it was really rude and unprofessional. We weren't going to ruin an epic road trip by arguing with a clerk in South Dakota who doesn't understand the basics of computer technology and didn't learn the fundamentals of hospitality and customer service from his America's Best Value trainers but we definitely won't be patronizing this company ever again.

tacky

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: nothing
Cons: front desk staff, cleanliness of "breakfast room" and the selections - really - stale bagels in a bag for everyone to reach in - yuck! room was sad
Location: Lots to do nearby as a tourist. The town begs for a decent hotel.
expected roaches and bedbugs once we saw the room. with no where else to stay, we were stuck. will never use this chain again and it was way overpriced!

Terrible

Posted Jun 29, 2015
Pros: beds where firm
Cons: almost everything
Location: start of black hills, great location for an upgraded hotel
Upon arrival and checking in, we found the room to have two beds and a table/desk. no other furniture at all. spoke with the front desk and he was able to get one stiff back chair and was not concerned about the rest of the missing furniture. The continental breakfast was a total joke. Consisted of stale cold cereal or stale toast, the coffee was machine instant but at least the orange juice was cols.

Big Room.

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Pros: Large bathroom, nice television.
Cons: USB plug-in's.
Location: Wall Drug is 2 blocks away.
While in South Dakota on vacation, we spent the night at this hotel. The large room make a comfortable stay and close to everything needed.
