Nice Place to stay near the Badlands.

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Quiet, soft beds, clean, helpful staff.
Cons: Continue the renovations & they'll do OK. It's unfortunate that the far building is so far from desk & breakfast. Need vending machines, maybe?
This is quite a large, spread-out, 3 building establishment at the edge of the town of Wall. It's quiet, it has a pool and play area for kids. The hotel staff was nice, and the owner's sister was manning the desk when we checked in. She was very nice and helpful with information. He is remodeling and has good taste. What he's doing is turning this hotel into a real beauty. Where it hasn't been touched yet -- I'm assuming the breakfast area -- is cheesy 70's. Where he has -- the lobby and the room we stayed in -- is very attractive indeed. The beds were soft, the room clean, everything in good repair. It was quiet -- except for one early morning trucker outside my window calling to his friend about how no one gets up early anymore -- but that's hardly the hotel's fault!! (and I was up!) Continental breakfast was OK, not exceptional.

OK place to stay

Posted Jun 29, 2014
One of the beds had a sagging mattress. Couldn't sleep in it without rolling to the middle. Otherwise, OK place to spend the night and visit Wall Drug downtown. I don't know what other options there are in Wall, so I opted not to recommend. There was a Dairy Queen across the street. That's a plus.

Nice place to stay.

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: I did like the breakfast here. I liked that it had some hot food, that was actually very good.
Cons: Another ice machine that is more centrally located in this hotel.
Location: The location is good and within walking distance to Wall Drug.
This was an ok place to stay. I was a little concerned at first since I could not check in until exactly after 3:00. We had stopped about 2:15 and weren't allowed to check in. I did like the breakfast, since it included some hot food which was really quite good.

Cute but not comfortable

Posted Jun 28, 2014
Pros: Clean and a large sofa.
Cons: Chair would have nice and another night stand. Breakfast attendant should be a separate job.
Decorated very cute. I am 5'4" bed was too high, came up to my hip. Being 65 but not handicapped, it was very difficult to get into bed. Our king bedroom had only one night stand. Had to set my water and phone on the floor. No carpet in our room was ok, but the room above us must not have been carpeted. Heard kids running around room above us. Breakfast was below the average . Not very much food was out when we arrived for breakfast at 8. Desk manager was also in charge of the breakfast area.

Disappointed

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Definitely need to provide a better continental breakfast! It's obvious that this chain bought an old motel and just slapped on a different name.
Location: The only reason we selected a place to stay in wall was because of the proximity to Badlands NP. Downtown Wall was secondary.
Dated motel, terrible breakfast, odor in front lobby, uncomfortable beds, outdoor swimming pool a joke.

Roomy and clean

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Location: Close to bad lands and Mt Rushmore
Singular c/o would be the late breakfast cuz we came from 2 time zones away. Good enough for a family road trip

Hotel was relatively new.

Posted Jun 16, 2014
Pros: The pillow-top mattress on the king-size bed and the large TV
Cons: The room could be laid out more efficiently. It lacked a work desk and chair
Location: Close to Interstate and local attractions...i.e. Wall Drugs
The bed was extremely comfortable, large 55" flat-screen TV, the outdoor swimming pool was being painted and couldn't be used during our stay.

Wall hotel

Posted Jun 1, 2014
The hotel was very clean. We were so pleased that our dog was accommodated and the room with three beds was very spacious for three adults. The girl at the front desk needs to wear a bra her appearance made us uncomfortable. Other than that it is a nice clean hotel and reasonably priced. The restaurant next door is terrible.
