“Average, at best”

Room was a King Size. Bed was very uncomfortable - Mattress felt rubberized, like a crib mattress. Bathroom was clean, but fixtures were small. Motel address did not comport with GPS location. Next-door restaurant was good and friendly. Continental breakfast was served at the restaurant; although, we ordered from the regular menu. Good food.

Clerk had to charge our card again, said that our card on Expedia didn't work. I still need to check our credit card to see if we got charged by both Expedia and the motel. Motel in general was from the 1960's. The only thing that had been updated was the bathroom, it had new tile and shower. The carpet was stained, and all the furniture was from the 60's. One part of the roof was bowed up with shingles that needed replace, I was glad our rooms were on the other wing. They didn't have the AC unit on, so when I got to the room it was about 85deg inside, I turned on the AC and we headed to the bar across the highway for a beer. We were on our way to Sturgis (for business, NOT Bike Week). Hotels in Rapid were $300/night, Wall was sold out, and this was the next town on the interstate. I wouldn't stay here again unless I had to.
