"Another Happy, Wonderful Stay @ the Beautiful Ritz"
We have been coming to the Ritz for little mini breaks when we don't have enough time to go anywhere further away. It was the Eid Al-Adha holiday, and the hotel was fully booked. We were offered a cold towel and a delicious fruit drink at check-in, personally shown to our room by the wonderful Margarita (thank you!). We spent a near perfect 3 days and nights just laying around, swimming in and enjoying the temperature controlled (lovely cool water), shimmery, huge pool and ordering delicious cold drinks and pizza poolside from their outdoor pizza oven. Not to mention, staff generously would rove around the pool offering cold bottles of water and cold watermelon slices to all. At night, we ate at the fabulous restaurants or hung out at the Thai Lounge (with it's big golden dragon). My husband thoroughly enjoyed the gentlemen's themed smoking lounge downstairs with it's live singers/jazz music. Staff were incredibly professional and pleasant, prompt in their service, the room very comfortable with plenty of Asprey toiletries, room service excellent. At checkout, we mentioned that we had a slight problem with the temperature of the room (it did not cool down enough for us) and we were graciously invited to have lunch at the hotels expense at one of their restaurants by the gracious and lovely Margarita. As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay this time, and left - as we always leave- refreshed, happy and relaxed. Thank you Ritz Carlton for another happy, amazing stay!

"Very comfortable suite with everything you need!"
The suite had everything we needed for a nice comfortable stay with lots of hanging out in the hotel room. At the free breakfast, there was always a bit of fresh fruit, and there were free espresso drinks, which always makes me very happy, but honestly the rest of the breakfast was "meh." The location is pretty nice, especially for hanging out around the Juffair area. We got upgraded from the most basic room to an amazing suite for no apparent reason other than sheer hospitality and friendliness. There's a little bitty pool, nice off-street parking, a nice gym, and very very friendly staff. I highly recommend it.

Just so much better than staying in a regular hotel. It's a home from home. In fact this was my second stay within a week and it's so homely I almost asked them to run me a bath on my return from a very hot and dusty Al Khobor in Saudi Arabia. Vanessa and the team were terrific. I can't praise them highly enough and I'm not easliy pleased living in hotels for well over half of the year every year for the past 30 years. On my second stay I was upgraded to a two bedroom apartment and I'm not kidding when I say it was bigger than my house. The restaurant was good providing a great breakfast selection, lunch and dinner. Also the Hertz team on site do a great limo service across the Causeway to Saudi Arabia from Bahrain. It's a much better way to arrive in Saudi than at the airport in my opinion. Marriott Executive Apartments are not licensed but that's a minor consideration as there's a pub diagonally opposite with a good band on every night and Duty Free on arrival at Bahrain airport. Can't wait to go back.
