“Not great”

At first, the hotel seemed to be fine. We checked in, the apartment (2-bedroom) was huge with a nice size living/dining room. However, it went downhill pretty quickly. They advertised having internet, a gym, and a pool. Granted, they did have these things but they were greatly overrated. The internet was very patchy and we had to call down to the front desk about 20 times in a matter of 3 days to get them to fix it. They gym had very shabby equipement and was tiny. The pool was on the roof (very hot in the sun) and the length was only 10-15 meters. All of those were tolerable, but the beds were what sealed the deal. They were as hard as rock. When asked about them, the front desk acted as if they had never heard the complaint. We've stayed at some real dives in the middle east, and these were by far the worst beds we'd ever slept in. The neighborhood was nice. Within walking distance was a grocery store, few good restaurants, and the Grand Mosque. It's very close to the Adilya area (which has a lot of shopping and eating places) and naval base. I would stay in the area again, but not in Ramee Suites 1.
