“Awesome stay”

I chose the Ritz Carlton because I wanted to sit on a beach and stare at the water for the 39 hours I had in Bahrain. It was perfect. Really great jogging trail going from the marina where water sports are available to the small private island and past the beautiful little watchtower. The spa was wonderful also, the steam rooms and plunge pool and salt water pool with bubbly jets....so relaxing.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Bahrain for 3 days and 2 nights. The room was spotless, comfortable beds and great service. We had dinner one night at 'Plums', the steak was the best I have had for a very long time. We also had a meal at the Indian restaurant which was great. Both restaurants had a lovely ambience. We had the breakfast the first morning. It was OK - omelette, eggs made to order, but the rest of it was a bit plain. The grounds of the Ritz were fantastic. Each evening we walked around them and took photos. Some places were photo banned. There is a security barrier at the front gate and at the front door of the hotel. We were a bit surprised, but better off being safe than sorry! A great stay!

“Bahrain Ritz”

I chose the Ritz Carlton in Bahrain because I wanted a relaxing weekend without any hassles. I wanted top of the line customer service and comfort. I spent the entire weekend at the hotel and did not even leave the hotel grounds because the hotel had everything I needed to enjoy myself without leaving the compound.

Although the most expensive option in Manama - definitely the best choice. Excellent customer service and very responsive to special requests such as flowers or concierge items.

“Always worth a visit”

Nice place to stay and relax, as it is self-contained with good restaurants, bar, shops, spa, and a fine beach. Ideal for families with kids below 12. Absolutely recommendable!

“Great--but not during Ramadan.”

Everything was lovely as a Ritz should be but we were unaware that during Ramadan all Bahrain hotels cannot serve alcohol. This started in 2006. The Ritz allowed just room service and mini bar only for alcohol. There is an awesome beach on the property and I really wanted a drink with an umbrella in it! I think we had the WORST mini bar bill in Ritz Carlton history... Also, only one restaurant open for lunch and it was packed with families that had no where else to go eat. This hotel on the weekends is full of families and may not be a romantic getaway, but kids will love the beach, pools, and the camel and pony that give rides on the weekends.

Well, what can I say except... It was worth every penny! The food,wine list,facilities,atmosphere and rooms were top class. The breakfast buffet was probably below par, but everything else was wonderful. Would highly recommend...

“FANTASTIC”

The grounds and the property are incredible and magical. The room and the service is awesome. By far the best hotel in Bahrain. I stayed there two times and will no doubt stay there again. 10++++++++. I love the Indian restaurant off the lobby with musicians playing Indian music, so fantastic. Highly recomend.
