Very cute motel near the St-Laurent riverPosted Sep 8, 2013
Pros: View, position, fire pit ...
Location: Whales, Bears, Kayak, ...
With a limited budget this is the best option in the area. With a good view on the st-laurent river and not far from Tadoussac and Les Escoumins, we enjoyed our stay of 2 nights. Just be aware that only half of the rooms are facing the river, we were lucky to get one :)

Not BadPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: Wonderful view.
Cons: Bed wasn't comfortable. Bedsheets seem old and used.
Location: Great location, close to the port where boats leave for whale watching.
The motel is in a great location and has a beautiful view. The backyard faces the river and you can walk down to the beach area. It is clean and has the basic necessities but nothing fancy. The room wasn't worth the 150 I paid, though the view did help in my not complaining about the price so much. I would recommend this motel but try to get a good price for it.

Modest quality at modest pricePosted Sep 1, 2013
Location: Whale watching, hiking!
Hotel Staff: some staff very friendly, some not so much. Location: Nice view on the St. Lawrence river. We were lucky to get a room not facing the street upon request. I guess the street-side rooms are pretty loud. Room: Beds & bath clean, the carpet looked stained. Also, the walls seem to be pretty thin, we heard a lot of noise from our next door neighbor until late at night. Wi-Fi: Could not connect to the Internet. It worked at all other hotels during our travel, so I guess it was not an issue with our laptop. All in all, the quality of the stay was modest, but I guess it's what you can expect for a modest price.

Exceptional views, ok everything elsePosted Aug 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Whales can be seen from the bedroom! No other hotel in Tadoussac has such nice views. The location is definitively the best, plus considering that you can cross easily and for free to Tadoussac for dinner or other activities. Rooms have not been remodeled from the 70s but it is clean and beds are decently comfortable. Breakfast in the motel is cheap and ok, and of course there are great views over the bay from the restaurant. Service is average.

Not worth the pricePosted Aug 19, 2013
Ordered 2 double beds room, but only got 1 double and 1 single bed room. Was told in one room when arrived before check-in. After toured back to check-in, gave me another one which we don't like...

Whale watching weekendPosted Aug 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was a bit cautious when booking this motel, but I can confidently say now that it was a GREAT choice. The view was breathtaking. We got a River facing room, and all I can say is "wow"! We just had to open the door and the water was right in front of us. The service was also very good; friendly. The staff tried their best to speak English and that was appreciated. The location was great - 5mins from the ferry which took you to Tadoussac. Definitely worth the money : )

This hotel is as it has been for many many years, tiny old tube TV,small room with little comfort and everything dated. The location is convenient to the pier to get the whale watching trips, and infact the hotel owners also have a whale watching company I believe.(Dufour).Restaurant was also so so with rather ordinary cafe style food. There are better places around though.

Old & Basic, expensive for what you getPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very basic place to stay. Expensive for what you get. Dinner was OK in their restaurant. Next time we would travel a little further & stay at Tadoussiac.

Beautiful Views, Convenient and Well PricedPosted Jul 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed one night and it served the purpose. The staff was friendly and spoke perfect English (and French). The bathroom had been updated within the past few years. The views into the bay were great.
