Great location

Pros: Clean, friendly staff. Good size pool and fitness centre was adequate.
Cons: Could upgrade their continental breakfast- the yogurt was plain with canned fruit! Also have more choices at the pool side bar, for lunch.
Location: You can walk to the Swizzle Inn, take a bus to Hamilton or St. George,s and walk to the Crystal Caves.
Good location, and closer to town of St. George's. Staff were very friendly and rooms were very clean. They plat Sirius fm by the pool. Buses stop at the street, and cabs are always available. Short walk to famous Swizzle Inn, with good pub food. Highly recommend Beach House resto next to Fort St. Catherine. Great views of two beaches, and fabulous food. Also took the ferry from Hamilton to the Dockyards. Very nice views of land and sea. Lost to do there, with museums and shops, restaurants etc. Bonefish was very good. Next time would stay closer to Hmailton though, as that is where the action is.

This resort has something for everyone

Pros: Grotto Bay has an actual grotto, and it's cool. The property covers several large caves, one of which has a swimming pool.
Cons: One clear downside - not a good hotel for anyone with mobility issues. It's built over a step hill and there can be quite a few stairs getting around
Location: Local buses serve the entire island from the end of the driveway and the passes (which include unlimited travel on the Hamilton ferries) are a bargain
A good choice for families travelling with kids especially because of the 'food and entertainment' package. Restaurants and food are insanely expensive in Bermuda. Even shopping at the Marketplace where the locals buy their food will likely give you a coronary, so it could be a savings in the end.

Fantastic resort

Pros: great facilities, great food, awesome location
Cons: food was expensive and small portions, 17% gratuity standard, like very other resort in Bermuda. Staff was generally great but a few grumps
Location: Swizzle and aquarium must do's. Rent a Boston Whaler on site and enjoy the beautiful bay!
Love the beach and pool, ability to rent boats on site. amazing view, close to airport but not too close. Cave on site was really cool and you can even swim in there!

Excellent Location

Pros: Pretty much everything! Staff, pool, caves, cleanliness... everything!
Location: Swizzle Inn Restaurant is a 2 minute walk and is a must for food! Best food on the island. Caves, beaches ice-cream, St.George...
The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The location and the property is excellent. The bus stops conveniently right in front of the hotel which we used every day (very efficient) and we were able to buy bus tokens/passes at the front desk. The pool area was wonderful and the pool temperature was amazing! Nice and warm! Perfect for a breezy night. Of course, the property was meticulously kept and clean.

Colorful vista from room window

Pros: Free afternoon tea with baked goods in the Palm Court room. We loved this eating area. Very relaxing.
Cons: The walkways around the grounds are rough, steep and uneven. Getting to and from our room sometimes was a bit of a feat at times.
Location: A short bus ride to St. George's. About 20 to Hamilton. Nature trail and Cystal Cavern is in walking distance.
My husband and I were looking to get away from a long, hard NY winter. When we arrived, the temperature was warmer than expected, but the next day it cooled off, and we got harsh wind and substantial ran. Despite this, the stay in Bermuda was good. Our view from the room overlooked the water and everything was so colorful! Staff was very nice and friendly… but then, everyone in Bermuda was super friendly. Each day, the hotel hosted a free afternoon tea with a few baked goods. We didn't purchase an all-inclusive package, and ate out often, but we ate at the hotel as well. Food and service were good. Prices were a bit high, but we found eating to be the most expensive cost on our trip in general. Hotel has a small but beautiful beach area, a heated pool and a hot tub. They supply towels, but if you're planning a late night swim, pick up towels before 5 pm. They even have their own cool cavern to explore. Other than nature walk and nearby caverns, there is little to do outside the hotel area. Only other restaurant within walking distance is the Swizzle Inn. We loved it, but mostly offers pub food. Bus stop out front. Buy tokens or bus pass from the concierge desk.

First time traveller to Bermuda

Pros: Hotel was okay and stand on whole was friendly (but I'm low maintenance so they weren't really tested)
Cons: Perhaps bring main lobby into 20th Century (yes, 20th and not 21st) looks a little tired and dated.
Location: not much but was not looking very hard. you had to travel for almost everything.
I knew little about Bermuda other than famed triangle! Was expecting typical warm island atmosphere. A little disappointed but my fault. Traveled alone to unwind from brutal winter and work and was successful, not big on sightseeing and where I was accommodated that wish.

Pros: the beach and 24 hour facilities
Cons: the internet connection
Location: the facilities are about a 3 minute ride from the airport. the buses are right outside the entrance and the restaurant swizzle is a 5 minute walk
very close to the airport but you do not hear the planes and close to transportation. everyone was courteous and professional
