The hotel staff could not be more helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is in an excellent central location and if you have a car, the hotel staff will provide assistance and information for the Car Park. There are tours which leave regularly from the square and there are two 'Fado' restaurants within walking distance where you can be entertained with this typical Portuguese music over a good meal. The reception area does not do justice to the hotel. The decor is quirky and worth noting - every chair in the restaurant is a different design. I am not too sure that I liked too much the 'Do not Disturb' Sign on the bedroom door which said simply 'Get Lost' ! However just a minor point for a very pleasant stay; I would definitely come back.

The Santa Justa is in an old building at the heart of the Baixa, which makes it equidistant from the Barrio Alto and the Alfama.........a short but stiff climb to both if you are on foot. Inside the hotel is modern and pleasingly designed....not too functional but not over the top. Staff amazingly helpful and friendly; free wi-fi and free mini-bar plus welcoming bottle of port are a nice touch. Can't really fault it. Didn't eat there, and the restaurants in the nearby Baixa streets aren't up too much.

My daughter and I spent 5 days in Lisbon and had a fantastic time. There is so much to see there! This hotel was in the perfect location for walking to all the major historical sites as well as shopping, restaurants and museums. It also was across the street from the beautiful train station. I will go back to Lisbon again because I could not see it all in only 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed the culture/architecture/food/people.

Charming, spacious and super helpful staff. We arrived late in the evening and were greater with a glass of port. Their breakfast is plentiful including fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs. The location is on the most historic and interesting square in the city and close to all of the sites and great restaurants . The rooms are spacious and quiet. Staff was super helpful, relaxed and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed at the Rossio Garden hotel for 7 nights, this is a lovely new hotel (just opened in May'14) it has a modern design, decorated in striking red, grey & black which looks great! Our room 505 was a good size, the bed was extremely comfortable, it was also very quiet despite the fact we were in the middle of a busy area, this is probably due to the double glazed windows. Our room was kept very clean with plenty of fresh towels every day, we were also left bottles of water & chocolate truffles every day, lovely touch! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast (8 euros) is well worth it, much cheaper than eating breakfast outside hotel! The location is very central, just a few yards and you're in Rossio Square, there are also loads of nice restaurants right next to hotel. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, book it, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic location near Rossio station, one bus ride from airport (or you can take the metro), close to all major sites, friendly staff, yummy breakfast, and the best part - a superbly comfortable bed. I'd definitely stay here again when I return to Lisbon next. The only thing that would make this hotel even better than it is right now is a sauna and a pool to relax in after a long day of sightseeing :).
