I was generally disappointed with this stay for two reasons. First, there were light bulbs out in our room. The staff was aware but did nothing about it. Also, the bed was one of the worst mattresses I have ever slept on. It was barely better than sleeping on the floor. It was incredibly hard and uncomfortable - I don't know how anyone could sleep on it for more than a couple hours, let alone an extended stay. Also the thermostat turned off in the middle of the night so it got stuffy, too hot to sleep.

Worst hotel experience ever
Worst check-in I've ever had, the front desk lady was very unfriendly and impatient, and it took more than 15mins for her to check us in. In the room there was no shampoo, hair dryer, they asked us to go downstairs twice to get what should have been in our room at 11PM. I would never ever consider them again

I ran out of shampoo. I asked the front desk for a complimentary bottle, as they advertised, to get me thru to the next day. I was told they didn’t have any in stock and it would be a week until they got more in. They started charging $20 a stay for dishes and silverware, $40 for the whole kitchen kit.

We booked and paid ahead. When we got to the lobby it was closed and saw a sign to call "0" on the outside phone. I talked to corporate offices and were told the staff (person) was on her "security route" and this could take 20-30 minutes. All we could do was wait, which we did because we were tired AND paid ahead. Once we saw her back behind the counter we ran into two whammies: 1. She (Elizabeth) was majorly strung out when we tried to check in, slurred her words, was very rude and then even sent us to the wrong room. 2. Once we asked other staff to show us our room we encountered THE filthiest scenario we ever saw in a hotel... There were dozens of cockroaches on the carpet that stunk like cigarette smoke (or worse) and all door handles had a sticky grime on them. Immediately we asked for another room but were told they were fully booked while it was obvious the parking lot was close to empty. In leaving after a heavy argument we encountered a gang like person outside who followed us to the car and only backed off after I told him I have a CCW permit. We booked a hotel FAR from this place! We never leave a bad review but people need to know about this horrible place.

Maybe they’re short of staff when we arrived there was no one at reception to check-in and they left a written message that we will be back as we are assisting other customers. We waited for more than 30mins then decided to go have dinner then come back. Also had internet wifi issues. In room there was sign if you need shampoo then contact at reception. If there is no one at reception then who will wait for shampoo. Side doors was not working with card readers and one side door was permanently disabled. I won’t stay here in future.

Things I wish I had known
The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was not the most comfortable, but was sufficient. We were disappointed there was no ice machine on the property and the only option was to fill the ice trays in our freezer for use the next day. Also, it is understandable that kitchen equipment needs to be picked up at the front desk, but for a one night stay shampoo should be available in the room without needing to request it from the front desk. The pre-packaged muffins, granola bars and coffee available in the lobby should not be advertised as “breakfast included”. Not a big issue but definitely not what we were expecting based on the description.

This is a fairly new hotel, near to the freeway. It is not close enough that you hear the traffic, though. There are only a couple places within walking distance to eat, so best you have a vehicle. The rooms are large with kitchenettes, if you are planning a longer stay. Overall a nice place.

Safe, gated parking lot. Very clean extended stay. Really nice room. I would stay there again. I recommend paying a few extra dollars and not staying at the cheaper motels in the same area, if you can.
