Nice hotel

Nice hotel but could not get ac to work. Kind of uncomfortable to not have air in hot Bakersfield weather. Everything else was excellent

Four Points-Bakersfield

Pros: Staff very friendly, clean property and plenty of free parking.
Cons: The ice machine in our building wasn't working but we went to the next one instead. Not a big deal at all.
Location: Lots of shops and restaurants within a short distance.
Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. Property located in a nice business park area with just about everything you need within a short distance.

Nice stay in Bakersfield

Pros: Neat, clean, friendly staff.
Cons: Coffee in the lobby.
Location: It was in a nice, clean area with a lots of businesses and a host of dining options.
The hotel was very nice. It was close to quite a selection of restaurants. The staff was very friendly. But, I guess I get spoiled with so many hotels having breakfast. You can get coffee in the room with the normal minimal sweetener/creamer options. They have a restaurant next door. But, it's only about a 10 minute walk to Starbucks, but that's something to factor in with the price. Lots of restaurants in the area for other breakfast options.

Hotel was fine but neighbors were noisy

My spouse and I were pleased with the hotel staff at check in. The young lady was polite, friendly and efficient. Our room was a nice size and very clean. It didn't have a refrigerator or microwave which would have been handy. Overall the room was great. Unfortunately the guests in the room next door had a couple of young children. Both the children were running around and very vocal. One of the kids pretended to be a dog and was barking for about five minutes and it sounded like they tried to unlock the secured adjoining door. During our weekend stay there was a wedding/reception at the hotel. As the drunken wedding guests made their way to their rooms in the wee hours of the morning they were talking in the hallway with no regard for the hour or volume. In spite of the noise we were pleased with the facility and will probably stay here again when we visit Bakersfield.

Great hotel, highly recommended!

I have stayed at this hotel twice, and each time was very enjoyable! The location was convenient, close to a lot of stores and restaurants, however was not noisy. I was in town for a few business meetings, and the hotel lobby provides a comfortable place to meet business colleagues. The room was spacious and pleasant, the courtyard in the middle of the hotel was neatly manicured. This is perhaps my favorite hotel in the entire Bakersfield!

Promises, Promises

We checked in, found our room and ran into problems. Phones didn't work! Off to the lobby to inform. Promised to fix .....nope. Asked for foam pillow.....would hAve to "search" for them. 2 hrs later, back to the front desk....no phones,no pillows. Finally, we got the pillows. Way too much effort expended. Pick another hotel!
