“Cheap and clean no frills”

I was looking for a moderately priced hotel for a weeks worth of business I had in Bakersfield. This hotel is older and it looked like they were in the process of sprucing it up. The staff was VERY accomodating. It was safe and clean. I had one of the king suite rooms and it was a large 2 room suite. It is also located very close (walking distance) to the mall with shopping and dining choices very close by. If you want a nice room with no frills for a reasonable price....I highly recommend this one.

“Breakfast”

I enjoyed pouring a ready-prepared cup of batter into the waffle maker and having a freshly-made waffle.The directions tell you how to rotate the pan to start the timer..it was easy but luckily there were only a few people willing to give it a go - or else there could have been a long wait!!

“Great Place”

If your looking for a great place to stay and for a great price, this is the place for you. I had no trouble what so ever when I stayed there for the week end. The room was clean, bathroom was clean, and it smelled GREAT! ! I was happy the whole time I was there.

“Good for one night”

This was a good place to stay for one night. The room with double king beds is not actually a suite in my opinion as the beds and "living area" are just one large room. Bathroom was a little run down. Breakfast was nice - waffles, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit - good selection.

Each room is a suite.Perfect for small families.

“Great Value, Friendly Staff”

Outside appearence: Good and clean, with ample parking. Lobby: Good and clean. Receptionest: Courteous, friendly, and professional. Pool and area: The area was small, but good and clean. Hallways: In good condition and clean. Elevator: In good operating condition and clean. Room: A suite with airconditioning, a comfortable king size bed, 2 TV's, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and telephone (everything was in good condition, and worked fine), Bathroom: Was ample, clean, and everything worked fine. Comments: this is a very good place to stay, for comfort and value.

“A good business spot in Bakersfield”

This a good "business suite" hotel at a reasonable cost. It is not "fancy" but is extremely comfortable and functional. I have used it as a long term base in the past and found it as satisfactory on a short term basis. The owners and staff are very helpfuk and friendly.

“Not what I expected but service made up for it”

After seeing the pictures and reading the information provided online by the hotel, I was expecting a much nicer room. When I arrived, I was disappointed with the size of the room and the overall appearance of the hotel; stains on hallway carpet, small pool, etc. However, the staff was definitely the most polite and accommodating of ANY place I have ever stayed! The breakfast was also very nice for a do it yourself continental type. Overall, a good value.
