The staff were very nice. Cared about your stay and safety. Rooms were clean reasonable, worth the $90. Place needs a little routine maintenance and painting, but it is a seasoned place so can overlook. Ate at the attached restaurant and very nice and good. Staff went out of their way. Location is very convenient and minimal freeway noise if any.

I got charged $30 for a “stained” towel, when I was barely there. And you are basically held prisoner inside the parking lot until someone decides to open the gate for you. I was late because I had to wait at the gate for someone to remember to let me out.

They checked us in and they had no running water. They neglected to give us an answer or a heads up that they were having an issue with the water. On top of that it took forever to get a response from them and to get refunded which never happened.

The ammount of money they added to the lobby shouldve been put into the rooms. The AC unit didnt work some lights didnt turn on and the tv remote barely worked. The parking lot as well is disgusting and minimal.

The bartender at this hotel was a very rude woman. The housekeeper opened our door at 9:00am saying “have a good day” we told them check out is at 11:00am and they said okay. The same housekeeper came back & opened our door twice before we were able to leave our room to check out.

I usually NEVER give bad reviews. However, this property was pretty bad, in our opinion. We had two rooms. Room one, the phone wasn’t hooked up and had no cord, it had no coffee pot, hardly any hot water in the shower and ripped carpet. Room two, had a coffee pot but only decaf coffee, the sink faucet sprayed all over you and the room if you turned it on to wash your hands, and when we stepped out of the room there was a stray cat IN the hotel hallway hissing at us. Just overall a bad experience.

No elevators. No room sprinklers. No room cards. Need an app and email to unlock room door. Lobby looks like an updated well kept hotel but rooms are not updated. Parking is safe.

Where to start I paid for a pool view room and got a view of stairs. The room was filthy loud. Front desk was rude, asked what our service dog was.

The hotel changed the door locks to a key pad that the code was texted to you. Each time you have to take out your phone to find the code. Also if you park in the back, you don't have your key card to swipe to open the gate. You have to call and wait for someone to verify you before the gate opens. The rooms have broken closet doors, or heaters that don't work. They are changing the lights in the hallway but not fixing broken fixtures inside the rooms.

Spend the extra $2 and stay somewhere else
The daytime counter service lady & housekeeping was great. The evening counter lady was rude and condescending. We asked for an extra blanket and an extra towel. She asked us to come down and get them. And would not give me an extra towel until I brought the other ones down at 1am in the evening. Saying she told me on the phone. Which I didn’t hear. The few dollars you save staying here as opposed to somewhere else is not worth it. They start banging on your door at 9am when check out is at 11. If you want to check out late it’s an additional $17 It’s also gated so anytime you want to leave or come back you have to buzz in and buzz out to have the gate opened The rooms were clean and safe enough but we could have stayed anywhere else and had a nicer experience

Professional and Friendly Service
We always have a wonderful time when we stay here!! The staff is optimal and extremely friendly!! They have several different options for breakfast including coffee for $1.99. The food is excellent as well as the professional wait staff and cooks. We know them by name and they’re always so glad to see us. Jose is fantastic and quite personable. We stay here often and will continue to come back!!

I ordered and paid for a pool view room not received.The faucet would not adjust-only very hot. The shower diverted was faulty. No sink pop up or stopper. The toilet seat was loose.All reported first day -nothing done.

The Best Hotel in Bakersfield
The staff is the most professional and productive. They’re extremely down to earth and greet us by our names every time they see us!! The property is absolutely gorgeous; especially on the pool side. It costs a bit more for these rooms but it is definitely worth it!! The Duniya has heart and is very friendly and comfortable. Thanks to the staff, management, and owner for always being so outstanding!!
