Never Again

Pros: Location to our business venue. A full size refrigerator. A microwave.
Cons: Housekeeping. Customer interactions. Appropriate management/staff roles. Replace all cabinetry with non-toxic building materials
Location: Close to Hodel's.
If you have chemical sensitivities, this is not a good choice. We kept the window open & turned on fans to circulate the air. Every cabinet reeked of formaldehyde. I didn't dare put any food inside. There was a nauseating stench of artificial air fresheners and lingering cigarette fumes. We arrived back after a long day of work to an unmade bed. Used towels were removed from the bathroom, but new ones were not provided. The large mirror was an absolute mess. I had cleaned the mirror myself before leaving for the day out of habit, and returned to find it visibly smeared and streaked, with residue of something that had been dripping down the surface of the glass. The room was adequately cleaned and made up the remaining four days of our stay after we reported the issues. I intended to thank the lady at the front desk, but she appeared to be engaged in a personal phone call when I left for the day and did not acknowledge my presence. The last straw was a visit from housekeeping while we were packing for check-out. She aggressively insisted that it was check-out time and made a motion to enter our room. I let go of the door and it slammed- like every door does in the hotel because of their spring loaded mechanisms. The front desk was called and they defended housekeeping. Never again. After we got home, my husband informed me the things on the walls next to the bed that I thought were cobwebs were not. Apparently previous guests did not have access to Kleenex.

Good Hotel

Hotel management and staff were very friendly and helped me move from one room to another because of a cigarette smoke issue. Starbucks within walking distance and Mitt's Diner - both excellent service and food.

Hotel was Dirty

My Room had a used Q-tip on the bathroom counter, several hairs in the bathtub and unswept floor inthe bathroom and the room smelled of maurijuana and fruit cover spray trying to cover the smell. The Lysol fruit spray gave me a horrible head ache. I will be staying back at the Holliday Inn

The size of the rooms are good but they don't offer room service everyday bad stff in the front disk no late check out they need to take care of the place alittle bet more

Dog friendly close to Famoso Race Track

We had stayed here when they first opened and our room was almost as clean as it was then. It is difficult to find clean places to stay that are dog friendly, and the GM was very nice. We plan on staying again.

The room was nice kitchen, bathroom, queen bed but I was staying for two days and they did not clean my room nor give fresh linen after the first day. They said the room was scheduled for maid service the next Thursday. Was not very happy had to go get fresh linens myself they would not even bring to my room.
