Bristol Hotel closed as i found out after booking, however staff contacted me and offered better room right on Baku's richest shopping street (Nizami) owned by same owner as Bristol was, I can not say enough good things about how the staff handled this and how far they went out of way to offer top service! Thanks, Spacibo!

Decent place, walking distance to most places
Front desk staff (Sevda) was wonderful. Very helpful and spoke some English. Room was nice and included a balcony. Wonderful breakfast. Very accessible to the Old City, the double gates are about two blocks away, and fountain square is right there. Very pleased, particularly given the very low rate. To be clear, this is a lower end hotel, but nice nonetheless. Very clean, nice rooms.

Good no- frills hotel,
Initially disconcerting when I arrived at 3.30 am, since the entrance is in a side street and upon going thru the door was faced with an empty staircase with no indication of what lay insid. However going up two flights of stairs you come to a long corridor with the hotel being at the far end. It’s a 3star hotel in my book and so long as you are happy with no frills then I would recommend it for its price & location. The latter is perfect being on the edge of Downtown and a couple of minutes walk to the Old City.

Lovely Staff. Centee of Town.
The lady that greeted us could not have been anymore helpful. She was amazing. This hotel is close to most tourist spots. Breakfast was fine as the lady will make you an omelette if you ask. Right opposite the Hard Rock but also close to many amazing Azerbajaini reztaurants. Loved Baku.

Great hotel, amazing breakfast!
Pretty much all aspects of this hotel is great. Really nice staff, excellent people and overall the facilities are great. All in all though, a great hotel and highly recommended! And, like mentioned in the title, the breakfast was just amazing.

An excellent value - superb location and service
If you are looking for great value, superbly location and honey, friendly service then Bristol zhotel is an excellent choice. The location just steps away from the best restaurants and central location can't be beat. The rooms are modern, well lit and clean. The reception, house keeping and service was so friendly and helpful. The only negatives were a) long flight of stairs to get to reception/rooms with no elevator b) small room size, and c) somwpewhat slow wifi speeds. I could live with all 3 for the price and convenience

48 stairs--no lift. otherwise, fine
only reservation is that, since hotel is located at the extremity of the unesco protected heritage site, no elevator can be installed. that entails 48 steps. hotel itself is newly re-furbished. only other reservation is that there is no english station on the tv. i keep asking hotels.com to inform readers of no lift if there is more than one flight of stairs. sevda is a charming host. decent breakfast

Ideal hotel
Hotel manager and staff are extreemly friendly and helpful. Arranged our day tour using hotel' car at more than half the price of local tour agency. Hotel is located right in the city centre( old town, squares ....and Caspian sea front.....all with in 5 minutes. Hotel transfer to and from airport is reasonably priced. Room was comfortable and clean. We will definitely stay this hotel again should we return to Baku

Great location, friendly staff
Hotel was situated in a side street close to local shops and restaurants, very close to fountain square. We were visiting for the Grand Prix so the location was excellent. Basic hotel room, really hard bed. Clean and tidy. Perfect for us as the only time we spent there was for sleeping but if you were planning on spending time in the room probably not the right place for you. Breakfast wasn't really up to much but so close to coffee shops that we probably would have gone out anyway even if it were better. Very friendly hotel staff who arranged taxi transfers for us.

A bit expensive for the room we got
I was pleasantly surprised by hotel stuff. Everyone was polite and kind. Breakfast was good. I was a bit disappointed with the room size and that the windows go to the small inner yard which was surrounded by buildings and this yard was covered with the glass roof. Thus, no fresh air could come. The room had AC but It was not enough. Taking into account all pros and cons I would rather say that this option would be ok if it costs a bit less.

Excellent location, about 3 mins walk to the old town, 5 to the waterfront & moments from fountain square. I had the twin room which was large, the only thing was the curtain were slightly too small for the windows which may trouble light sleeper. Staff were all friendly & helpful and used their airport transfer service $17,

++ Location was perfect.Walking distance to old city and other attractions , Coffee shops ,Bars and Resturants. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was Ok. - We had reservation for 2 rooms for 3 nights but When we arrived receptionist said Hotel is overbooked and transferd 2 of us to another hotel just for one night. Overall I recommend this hotel for people who travel with low budget.

best location in town
the location is fabulous ; just 5 minutes to beach bulvard, 2 minutes to old town . rooms were big and clean . WiFi worked fine. Breakfast was adequate . the owner is very kind and helpful. the Staffs were polite. I highly recommend this hotel.

Super quiet room even though it was near a main square and had tons of foot traffic. Had a nice balcony, but no chairs or tables to sit outside. Breakfast was an afterthought.

Entrance to the hotel is not convenient; it is in the second floor and no elevator is available. This aside, rooms are renewed and clean, staff is very courteous and location is very good.

Centrally located modern hotel
A comfortable and clean hotel ideally located just off fountain square. Rooms are modern and comfortable with good en suite facilities (water pressure could have been a bit higher but minor point). Staff are very helpful and breakfasts are buffet style with fresh omelettes prepared upon request. Early breakfasts were also dealt with as we have early starts.

Superb location and service
The hotel is excellently located near Fountain Square and the Old City. The Caspian Sea is also just a 5 min walk. My room was very good, with everything you'd expect from a 4* Hotel. The service was great with staff offering to make extra things for breakfast, even though there was arleady a very good selection on offer. I would recommend using the taxi service as it's very affordable and you'll def find the hotel that way (it's on the second floor and the sign is smallish). They even let me pay in Roubles for extra services, which was much appreciated!

A Pleasant Stay
The hotel is located right in the heart of the business district of Baku on a small street without traffic (end of a cul-de-sac). Traffic noise is not worth mentioning, however, one part of the music from Straßenlokalen, but is very small. There are several mini markets (drinks, snacks) in the surrounding area, "real" there were altogether very few. Many ministries, attractions and the pedestrianised area with shops are in the immediate vicinity. The old town is 5 mins max There are also restaurants in the area, for emergencies also McDonalds in the pedestrian area. The transfer time from the airport is approximately 30 minutes, depending on the time.

Excellent value and location.
This is a small (12 room) independent hotel in the pedestrian centre. The opposite of a corporate hotel, both good and bad. Comfortable but not spacious or luxurious. Service is attentive. Breakfast is adequate. Location is hard to find, but perfectly situated. (They have a sign now.) I'd definitely stay here again.

The hotel is hidden and very difficult to get to, definitely use the Hotels taxi service (also, you won't get ripped off this way by enterprising taxi drivers) otherwise you may spend a significant amount of time with an increasingly frustrated taxi driver. The hotel will send their drivers to get you and drop you off-- do this. The outside is nondescript and still being worked on-- but once you get into the hotel it is very nice and clean-- the staff is incredibly kind and helpful-- they carried all of my 60 lb suitcases up the stairs and into my room after tracking down the taxi several blocks away to guide us safely to the hotel. The room is very clean and neat, decor is nice and it has a great balcony. The bed was not very comfortable, but that is really my only complaint. The breakfast was fine, nothing to exciting. However, the hotel is near all the best restaurants in the area, very close to Iceriseher. Perfect location. The staff was incredible-- really, one of the guys even drove with me to the airport so I wouldn't have to carry my luggage on my own. Really above and beyond as far as service goes.. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Fountain Square or Icerisheher.

Good location just off fountain square area with bars, shops, cafes and restaurants etc. A visible sign outside hotel would be useful as it was hard to iniatially locate. Staff were great, very helpful. Rooms decent standard.

Tam bir rezalet .Baku havaalanından şehre gelirken,şöför kestirme yol tarifi istedi.Telefona çıkan kadın görevli bana otelin kapandığını ve bizi ayni düzeyde bir otele yönlendireceklerini söyledi.Kabul etmediğim halde Bakü Drop İnn adlı bir otele gitmek zorunda kaldık.Bu oteli beğenmedik.Bristol otele gittik oradaki görevli bayan hiçbir şey yapamayacağını şu anda oradaki görevinin bittiğini söyledi ve biz ortada kaldık.Kaldığımız otelin en fazla günlük 80 AZN fiyatla (2kişi) ancak biz hesba göre 100 AZN ödedik. Bize başka alternatif sunulmadığı için mağdur olduk, sinir bozucu ve çok dar olanaklar içinde bir tatil geçirdik. Biz Hotels com.'un ilgisizliğinden şikayetciyiz. O kadar ki kapandığı bildirilen bir otel hakkında benden yorum istiyorsunuz. Peki benim mağduriyetim nasıl giderilecek. Bana onu anlatın. Hotels com.'un kurum olarak işini takip etmemesi ve tatilin başlangıcında insanları mağdur etmesi gerçekten üzücü ! Size tavsiyem önce kendinizi düzeltin sonra yorum isteyin. rNot : otelle ilgili bir şey yazmıyorum orası ayrı bir rezalet. İnsan ümit ettiğini bulamayınca ne yazsam az kalır.

Неплохой вариант для короткой остановки в Баку
В целом неплохой мини-отель с прекрасным расположением. Убирают неплохо, скромные завтраки. Двери в номерах очень тонкие, да еще и с просветом внизу, поэтому все, что происходит в коридоре (все ночные разговоры рецепшен с постояльцами) все слышно отлично, и это очень мешает.Отель на втором этаже, подъем без лифта.

Altes Hotel direkt am Boulevard
Das Hotel liegt direkt am Boulevard. Viele touristische Attraktionen, besonders in der Altstadt, sind von hier aus gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist gut und das Personal ist freundlich.
