Location, staff, pool, gardens all greatPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Location, friendly helpful staff, fridge in room, great bed, very clean. Restarant great. Get room with breakfast as it is made to order not buffet.
Cons: The pillows were a bit hard, but they always are in Asia
Location: Shops, restaurants, bars, boutiques. Walk to fancy shops in Seminyak, or down to Kuta. 5 min walk to nightclubs. Shopping, shopping, shopping.
The cottages are in a great location, on Legian St, the main drag, surrounded by little shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars. Despite this it is so quiet and peaceful as soon as you go thru the gates. Alternative shops and restaurants in the smaller lanes at the rear, with ample choices and lower prices. There is a laundry in the lane, and a convenience store with better prices than on Jl Legian. Its not very close to the beach, about a 10 min walk. The pool area is great as are the very pretty gardens. It is immaculate, and the staff friendly and helpful. It is not new or fancy, actually showing some wear around the edges, but everything works. Room 435 is the best, a superior room with king bed, of great comfort. Good AC, plenty hot water, kettle, fridge. Nice views and breeze on the balcony of this large room. Some rooms down the back near the lane would not be as nice, so pay the small amount extra for superior room. Its a smaller hotel, only 35 rooms so no crowds at breakfast or pool.

Adi Dharma Hotel nicer surroundings than cottagesPosted Aug 27, 2013 on Hotels.com
We were pleased to be moved from cottages as they had construction right next to our room. The hotel had better facilities and service was pleasing. We would recommend staying at the hotel.

Hotel good, location not so greatPosted Apr 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel itself is fine, the pool area is nice and rooms are clean. Breakfast was large and service was good. The "close to the beach" location is about a 15 minute confusing walk through the very busy ally's which can either be an adventure, or a little overwhelming.

Feel safe and welcome at Adi Dharma HotelPosted Sep 15, 2012
Pros: The warmth of the Balinese people
Cons: Bathrooms are a bit smelly but only to be expected in Bali
Location: Hidden away in the heart of the bustle, like a paradise within the city, very private as down the end of a lane but so close to everything.
We stayed at the hotel rather than the cottages and I would recommend doing the same as it is more private. It is an idyllic hideaway amongst the hustle and bustle of Legian/Kuta. When leaving the hotel ensure you have a good map of the surrounding area as could be quite hard to make your way back on the first outings. The Balinese staff are very friendly and helpful, there is a lot of security around the grounds and the staff are all in uniform and all seem to speak English. The pool is a decent size and lots of loungers available as well as fresh towels each day. Breakfast offers several choices. Safes are installed in the rooms as well as a mini bar and kettle and fresh water bottles each day. We felt safe here. Highly recommend.
