“Great experience”
Hotel was very attractive. The breakfast buffet offered more than we could eat. The staff were very attentive. They even arranged for a cake and card to be delivered to my sister-in-law's room for their anniversary at no extra charge. Only complaint is that the beach was not as scenic as had hoped.
“Fantastic”
This hotel was a very luxurious experience. Everything was the best it could be. The breakfast provided was the nicest anywhere. The pool was fun and amazing. The beach was right there within easy access. I'd go again for sure.
“Good for families, NOT honeymoon”
I was really disappointed in this hotel for our honeymoon. It's a large hotel catered for large families, and is NOT a romantic setting. The building is from the 1970's and it shows. Poor quality bed linens, and a visibly stained mattress underneath. The breakfast and food at the hotel is low quality, with the exception of Giorgio Restaurant which was good. We had dinner at The Conrad down the street one night, and immediatly wished we had stayed there - much more modern and sleek, and an amazing suckling pig dinner!
“Just ok to stay”
It is a beautiful resort (architecture), not the beach. The front desk staffs are not good nor friendly, but the other staffs are ok.
“Friendly and welcoming staff”
Bali Aston Hotel ~ Benoa is surrounded by convenience stores, information booths for the likes of taxi hire/ driver hire/ daily excursions/ massages and spa treatment places along the side walk. There are sufficient restaurants to choose from and is very affordable in the immediate area. Be care of the side-walks as these are not adequetly maintained, walking at night especially. Bali Aston has a shuttle bus that leaves 9am,11am3pm & 6pm to Kuta, you do need to book ahead of time, 1 to 2 days prior as only seats approx12 ppl, returns from Kuta at 1130am, 330pm & 630pm. The breakfast is very very good, with a fantastic selection for all dietary needs. Air-conditioning was good at all times. Rang for room service a few times over our stay and staff were at room within minutes ~ prompt and efficient service.
“we enjoyed the pools.”
Yes the room and hotel was good. We did get located above a noisy generator that was a bit unpleasant. We liked the hotel and the staff were great.
“great value for money”
members of the hotel staff are friendly and helpful. , the hotel needs to improve their garden view as it's mostly concrete that is seen from the room's terrace.
“Nice Family Friendly Resort”
If you are looking for a hotel on the beach with other families this is the place. The pool is wonderful and the beach access unparalleled. Having walked along the beach in both directions I think this is one of the best hotels in the area and certainly the best value. The breakfasts were good and offered a lot of variety. The staff was wonderful and extremely accommodating. We asked for a room change and they made it work in an almost full hotel.
“Aston Bali - exceeded my expectations! (great value)”
The Aston Bali Resort & Spa exceeded my expectations. The hotel complex was beautiful with gorgeous ocean front beach and a wonderful pool. Very comfortable lounge chairs and seating including sunny and shaded areas. The breakfast, included with our room, was more than one could expect - and very good. We reserved an ocean view room, and were upgrated to a suite - including a large living room, second bathroom, two large flat screen televisions - very very lovely. The only area lacking was the hotel didn't provide information about sight-seeing - or at least they didn't make it obvious if they did.
“Lovely, Easy, Peaceful”
Great place to stay for an easy, stress-free experience. And a great price. Staff were fantastic and the room was great with a beautiful view. Not close to anything so if you want to get out and about on foot, not the place for you.
