Every single thing here (apart from the over crowded Rock Bar) was just gorgeous. Annie at reception and Sassi by the pool deserve a very special mention (forgive the spelling of their names) - it felt like a wonderful dream to be able to stay here!

By far the worst resort I've ever been to. Outdated rooms, overcrowded facilities, and VERY spotty room cleaning. I was horrified to see a used razor as part of the amenities kit and when I brought it up to the front desk's attention they refused to admit guilt (saying it was a supplier issue) and on top of that had to demand compensation. Seriously? Any other 5-star resort would immediately apologize first and at least offer a free breakfast voucher for the trouble. Not here. Bali is known for its amazing resorts and service. If you're spending that kind of money anyway, you have tons of better and friendlier options.

The property is beautiful, our ocean delux room was very spacious and tastefully decorated with lovely views over the lucious grounds and out to sea. Staff are extremely attentive and polite. There are about 18 restaurants all of which serve very nice food - Sami was my favourite. Also the ocean rock bar is a must with great cocktails especially around sunset. One negative though - there are a swathe of camera wielding tourists who are brought in before sunset - they are supposed to stay in certain areas which are cordoned off but they manage to avoid these. Very distracting for the guests I thought.

Beautiful property. They have shuttles to transport guests to all different parts of the resort. Bedrooms are very clean, spacious, great amenities. The Rock Bar is a highlight, best view for the sunset. In the overall; this hotel is highly recommended

Ayana Resort is unlike any other hotel in Bali. Yes, it can be a little pricey upon booking, however your really paying for the amenities, service and restaurants available at the resort. I could talk for hours on how good the resort is, but all I will say is that the staff truly completed the experience for us!! They were absolutely lovely and were always trying to make our stay special. The food was fantastic and the pools were divine!!!! We will now be making this a bi-yearly trip. We absolutely loved it!!!!!!

The location is great! You can swim in the infinity pool with the view of Rock Beach. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing!

Pros: Ayana is stunning, perfectly manicured and the views are incredible. The staff are friendly, helpful and always greet you as you pass them. We stayed in a deluxe ocean view room. Balcony had a day bed which was perfect for watching the sunset. Truly 5 stars. Highly recommend having dinner at Rock Bar, i cannot describe how amazing it is, the food, the venue, the service, the cocktails and music. It was one of the best experiences I had in Bali. Cons: This is a 5* resort, everything from average tasting coffee, Bintang beer to womens’ sanitary items are heavily inflated. Secondly - it has nothing to do with the hotel, but really ruined this experience for us and I think it’s important to note if you’re thinking of staying here - we won’t be staying here again. There’s a large certain demographic of people that spend hours taking pictures in the pool or asking staff to take pictures of them (for a good hour) at Kubu beach club (Ayana’s private beach). This kills the atmosphere as the rest of the guests would like to enjoy the facilities without having to move out of the way for other guests spending hours taking selfies. Finally, I went to use the pool bathrooms (Female) some other guests were disgusting. Peeing with the door open and leaving the seat and floor full of their urine was disgusting, especially as they knew I was waiting to use the toilet. Again not the resorts fault, but it’s that demographic I mentioned earlier.

The resort is great, though the rooms feel a bit worn and dated. The pools are all very nice and the rock bar is don’t miss. The restaurants were all excellent. However everything within the resort feels pricey.

Beautiful property with nice gardens. The food is low quality, except Dava steak and seafood restaurant. We did the dinner at the pier because was our anniversary and it was a really a very poor and cool meal. They have to walk 500 feet to get the food. We supposed to have our dinner with only two tables more but it was pack with people taking photos and drinking. I think that the prices are overrated as a 5 star Hotel but they delivery a 3 star experience because they mixed external people with the guest so every time you need access and area they asked if you stay at the Hotel. In my opinion this lost the charm of this massive property.

We had an Ocean View Suite which was amazing - one of the most spacious suites I have stayed in. One thing that really stood out for us was the cleanliness of the resort - it really was spotless. We also recommend the rock bar and the aqua tonic pool is also a great way to spend an hour or two. We would definitely recommend this resort (although be prepared to spend an international rather than Bali budget).

Beautiful grounds with a nice private beach. Luxurious room with flower-strewn bathtub. Very helpful staff. One word of advice: the restaurant should not neglect their Muslim guests' need for halal food. Otherwise, great stay!

The Ayanna is an exceptional place to with breathtaking views from the pool. Highly recommend. Our only dissatisfaction with the place was the quality of the alcohol drinks which were very weak and no Chardonnay white ever available for over 9 days.

Everything was excellent. The drinks and food are pricey but that's to be expected at a resort of this caliber. For example, a can of Coke at a convenience store is $6500 rupiah but $65,000 at Ayana. The markup is steep.
