Short walk to Kuta or SeminyakPosted Nov 11, 2014
They have newly renovated the Baleka it is away from the busy Kuta, but also a short 10 min walk there if you want to visit, likewise a 10minute walk from Seminyak beach and all it's beach resteraunts. For $50AU a night the value is great, nice big newly renovated rooms with air con, swim up bar and very friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed there 3 times now and will be back.

Always a pleasure and a pleasure to stay there.Posted Nov 2, 2014
Pros: All is very good as mentioned above.
Cons: The breakfast could now like the rest of the resort is getting renovated or additions made, Come on Gula Gula.
The third time staying there and can not wait to go back, each time with different people added to our experience and everyone loves the location, the resort and the staff. Look out March 2015 should be the next visit and then planning a big family visit next year as well.

Everything was great with our stay - only the bathroom had a funny smell to it. The toilet must have had issues also as it would make some weird noises when flushed.

Centrally located budget hotelPosted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: A nice pool area and great location
Location: Convenient location to airport, beach and shopping.
Were only at the Baleka Resort briefly and did not stay a night as had a late night flight departure. The Baleka was ideal for this purpose. Good proximity to the beach to enjoy the sunset and a massage close by was a nice way to remember our last day in Bali.

In RenovierungPosted Oct 13, 2014

Pros: Location and friendliness of staff. Nothing too much trouble.
Cons: As with most in Legian now, because the properties are narrow so are the pools and you get lots of shade in the afternoons.
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Great deal; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Spotless; Good old fashioned service where the staff remember you!!
