Traditional Balinese with all modern comforts

Posted Oct 22, 2014
Pros: The servant attitude from the staff, very humble, they could teach us a thing or two
Cons: The only thing was the air conditioner in our room was a bit noisy,in the quiet of night was this obvious, didn't affect my sleep but it did my husband
Location: Stroll 2 beach frm hotel, water sports;jet ski-ing,parasailing,windsurfing,snorkelling,fishing trips, boat trip to Gilis Islands, shop at Bali Collection
Ideal place to relax.Beautiful tropical grounds/gardens..set in 3 acres.Lazing on a sunlounger under the shade of a mango tree, frangipani tree and jackfruit tree..I thought I may be in Paradise.Water sports on your doorstep but not pushed on to you. Where to have a swim?beach or pool with swim up bar both within a stones throw from each other..decisions..we chose both :) Great menu from the restaurants, catering for everyone but we thought while in Bali we'll have Indonesian, our favourite anyway.

Just what the dr ordered. Peaceful and relaxing.

Pros: It is built in the traditional Balinese style not like a lot of hotels that you could place anywhere in the world.
Cons: The bus which runs from Nusa Dua to all the hotels does not keep to any timetable. We ended up walking which was lovely along the beach anyway.
Location: There are lots of water sports, some shops and the two islands to investigage. The hotel was right on the beach and better than a lot of Bali beaches.
We could not have been happier with our hotel. Everything about it was outstanding. The grounds are beautiful, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will go there again, so much better than the busyness of Kuta and Legian and only a short drive if you want to shop their. We had less than a week to unwind and were in need of a completely relaxing break which we were able to achieve. We loved the squirrels running up and down the trees and were friendly if encouraged. We have been to Bali many times and this is now our favourite hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. Great place.

Nice hotel and amazing place!

Pros: Pool, beach, food and service.
Cons: Room booking system.
Location: Very good location with free shuttle bus to Bali Collection.
We had a problem in our arrival because the hotel had a system problem which caused an overbooking. A very polite employee offer us to stay one night in the side hotel and in the next day they will pick up us at noon. We accepted. However, At 12:20 no one had arrived so my husband had to go by walking to the hotel to ask what was happening. Apparently the employee which agreed to pickup us didn't informed others about it. The hotel offered us a suite room but when we arrived it was a twin bed room which was solved just putting the beds together. Besides those problems the hotel was amazing, as the room, restaurants, food and service. I recommend this hotel but I wish they organize better the booking system to avoid these kind of problem.

Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Sep 19, 2014
We had a great stay, the facilities and room were amazing, and the hotel is right on the beach. It's not in the gated area of nusa dua, but close. Some of the staff weren't very friendly. But in saying that there were a few who were amazing. There are free activities every day like pool aerobics, cooking demos, snorkeling etc. I highly recommend the snorkeling! There was the option for all inclusive at the hotel, which lots of people were on. We found it a bit expensive and prefer to explore too. There are lots of restaurants at all the hotels, and along the road. Bali collections mall is close by taxi or scooter, and has some nice shops and restaurants at reasonable prices.

Great hotel next to beach.

This was an amazing hotel right next to the beach. It has a nice Indonesian feel to the buildings with nice gardens and pool. Hotel staff are friendly and helped make our stay thoroughly enjoyable. We also booked scuba diving through the kiosk located at the hotel and powered water sports on the beach. These were great fun and not too expensive. The location of the hotel is ideal. Right on the beach and not far from Seminyak and Kuta if you want a bit more going on. Overall we had an amazing trip here and would def recommend this hotel to couples like ourselves.

The Lion the witch and the wardrobe!!!!!!!!

Pros: A truly relaxing environment which had an army of staff cleaning, gardening and waiting on you, with a smile to boot.
Cons: Very minor things like the odd crack in masonry etc but apart from that a total package. No wifi in rooms though, that would help.
Location: Great beach location with large shopping mall close by. Easy walking path running approx 5km's along sea front. Food, shopping and spas. Perfect.
After a 15 min ride from the airport and passing through some tired looking local streets, you arrive at a large impressive staircase up to the lobby. At this point, leave all your troubles behind. You are entering Narnia. Cool and welcoming, a fresh drink brought to you, you cannot help but admire the huge Balinese infrastructure around you. Friendly staff check you in and then guide you to your room through the fruit tree lined paths that cover the whole place. A garden to be envious of. The rooms are well equipped with A/C,(thank god), a mini bar and a bathroom with separate everything, shower toilet bath, a safe, wardrobes etc, and very nicely styled. Clean and tidy and made up everyday. Slippers and kimono were also a nice touch. TV as well but pointless as we were never in the room except to sleep and shower. Way too much to enjoy around the resort. The pool area was very appealing with the swim up bar and the golden sand beach was clean and uncluttered. Breakfast was great. Always a choice of hot and cold food and a chef always there for your choice of eggs, the omelettes being a very popular choice. The staff at the hotel were brilliant, remembering your names and always happy to engage in conversation when possible. Very helpful when asked, and if you had a problem, ie plug in bath would not seal, it was sorted in minutes. My wife and myself stayed for 12 nights, and we are definitely going again next year, with friends I understand.

Room was one back at front and traffic noise was terrible. Only stayed 6 out of 8 nights because of that.
