“Incredible value for money in beautiful location”

Paid half as much here as previous villa in Seminyak and this was much better. The grounds are really well kept with a lovely pool and lots of statues / gods to look at. Views over the rice terraces are very peacefull. Staff are very friendly and helpfull, room comfortable / clean with a small private garden at front, mosquito coils are lit for you each night which definitely helps. A free shuttle service into centre of Ubud is easily available to order and only ten minute journey. Breakfast is small but good. The attached restaurant has great views and reasonably priced, the food was a bit hit and miss mind, the 'cock fighting chicken' must have lost a few fights given its scrawny state! That doesn't take away from the quality / value of the hotel though, would definitely stay there again.

Going only on Expedia's recommendation Bebek Tepi Sawah was amazing from the moment we walked through the gate into a luscious garden and the reception. Greeted with a cold drink, gardens are lush and tropical. Rooms huge with a large verandah and daybed. Bathrooms were wonderful, lots of cupboard space, kettle, fridge etc. Food was excellent, pool area very beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel for peace, space, and a good relax. They provided us with transport into Ubud whenever we wanted. A great hotel.

Tepi Sawah is a delightful oasis of comfort and art located in Ubud, Bali; The villas are separted by lush gardens, private varandas and total seclusion just off the highway into Ubud; it is quite, very comfotable, a private oasis for it's guests;I will stay here again and again when in Bali; the villas, food, staff, services and accomadations are 4-star; would recommend it for the price. This is Bali at it's best!

Tepi Sawah is a small boutique villa hotel situated some distance out of the main area of Ubud and was a very secluded and relaxing place to stay. We did not consider the distance to be a problem as the hotel provided a courtesy car at your request from early morning until quite late at night; In fact we very much enjoyed the outlook over rice paddies and being away from the main shopping areas. The rooms were actually nicer and bigger than they appeared in the photos! and that does not happen very often. We also enjoyed the private dining area for breakfast away from the main restaurant. I would absolutely stay there again and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

The initial impression of Tepi Sawah was great! The atmosphere is awesome and the rooms are just amazing. That being said, we did request an upstairs room a couple of months before our trip, which they confirmed, then never gave us. We stayed in Bataun 103, which is a gorgeous villa only a stones throw from the restaurant and pool. The room feels very relaxing, and most nights we'd sit on the veranda and enjoy the balmy nights, free from bugs because of the mosquito coils they'd come and light for us each evening. My only real complaint would be the service. It seems very, very slow. Apart from breakfast, we were always waiting ages for food/drink from the hotel restaurant. We were also left stranded in the middle of Ubud one night because the shuttle bus never came to pick us up (booked for 8pm and we waited til 8:40), and no-one really seemed to care when we mentioned it. And after our mains were brought out at the main restaurant, they seemed to forget about us too. Although the crispy duck is as good as they say ;) Having to rely on the shuttle to get to and from town got a bit tiresome, but it was probably worth it for the relaxing feeling at the hotel. We enjoyed our stay, and the people are friendly, but I'm not sure we'd stay again. I think we'd go for somewhere a little closer to the town center.

The villa is built in truly Balinese style (I love it very much), very quiet, relax and has beautiful garden and pool. Location is a bit far for walk into Ubud center but free pick up and drop off service works well. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, the bathroom gorgeous. The staffs were friendly and always helpful. Overall the breakfast need to improve because not much of variety. I would definitely recommend staying here for a good value for money hotel in Ubud.

It was a very lovely experience in Tepi Sawah. The service is exceptional and the villa we stay has a beautiful rice field view. The room is very clean and more like vintage style rather than hotel, which we preferred. The villa also has free transport to town, once they forgot to pick us up from a spa and we have to find our own transport back to the hotel. We notified the hotel we didn't get picked up from the spa, they apologised and give the money back to us for the taxi which it was beyond our expectation! Great experience with Tepi Sawah, we enjoyed our stay very much!
