Pros: La localisation et le calme;

Sweet hotel in the junglePosted May 16, 2015
Very sweet and comfortable budget hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Staff accomdating and friendly. It's a good place on the semi outskirts of Ubud. And it's very close to the Jazz cafe which is a nice place to spend an evening.

UnsatisfiedPosted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: Spacious room, good bed, spacious bath room, refrigerator.
Cons: The tv channel for each room should be provided with the cable provider, cleanliness of the room facility, the honesty of the employee.
When I came, turn out the guest extended the room, so I had to move to another hotel. Next day, they drove me back to the hotel. The hotel ads is so small and blurred, you could miss the sign. It was in the small alley, with a few lights at night. I saw the employee didn't wash my coffee glass with soap, he just cleaned it with water. The water spray was small. On my last day, the employee asked me to leave at 10.30, while I had an agreement with the owner to leave at 12pm. The owner explained to me that the next guest was insist to check in at 11am, and there's nothing he can do about it.

small hotel, access through narrow pathPosted Oct 4, 2014
Well it is a nice and clean place but to access it you have to go through a narrow path where are no lights during the evening. As I was traveling by myself this was a bit doggy. Unfortunately I couldn't use the pool as they were burning rubbish on the other side of the hotel and the smoke was all around. But all in all it is a option to stay at a decent price and the rooms are quite nice.

(English will follow) Un petit gîte sympathique, très bien situé dans Ubud! / A nice cottage well located in Ubud, easy to walk the entire village from there. Large enough room, but humidity scent in the bathroom. The mattress seemed very tired, uncomfortable... Super breakfast: ask for the omelet-sandwich: perfect for a big walking day! Very nice and caring hosts!!

disasterPosted Aug 14, 2014 on Hotels
When me and my husband arrived Bembengan Ubud Cottage , manager of the hotel told us that his hotel is full that day and he booked for us from another hotel. But there was a lock in his hotel as far as I see and there was not any other people staying at that hotel. Since it was late we were not able to search for another nice hotel. So, he took us to the other hotel which was actually not hotel but a cottage and our room was in bad condition. Moreover this hotel very far away from the Ubud Center.

Bad Experience!Posted May 20, 2014
Pros: Sorry! Dislike this hotel. They are not honest to do business. Cannot be trusted!
Cons: Please train your staff well and make booking arrangement in good order. How can full payment made but no room at last?!
Location: We have no room to stay and shop around, so don't know about the things to do near by.
Full payment made and we have received confirmation email stating 'that the room is guaranteed until midnight local time'. When we reached there at around 9pm, we were told that there are no more rooms! How could this happened when we have made full payment to secure the booking. Furthermore we were transferred to stay at the owner's house 2km far away from the original hotel. The staff attended is very rude when we refused to move and ask for refund. It has caused great inconvenience (time + money) to us and spoilt our holiday mood. It's really an unpleasant experience!
