No wifi in the room!Posted Nov 11, 2013
Such a shame they don't have wifi in the room. The staff speaks very limited English. Other than that its awesome. The pool is huge and the breakfast are super nice!

Bali in luxuaryPosted Oct 26, 2013
Pros: Free pickup for the shopping village from the hotel. Free WIFI in the lobby area. There is a professional photographer there who can be booked.
Location: ANZ ATM outside, mini marts accross the road. Beach front has water sports and beach hut market stalls. resturants around the hotel area short walk
From the moment you check into the hotel you are made to feel welcome by all the friendly staff. The hotel it self is absolutely stunning, from its breath taking views overlooking the ocean to its magnificianly landscaped gardens incorporated into the swimming lagoon. You will not be disappointed with this hotel that's for sure! I asked my now fiancee to marry me in the romantic dinner huts in the beach front.

Amazing hotel! A real five star experience.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Location: Not many restaurants nearby but a cheap taxi ride up the road gave us a good range of restaurants to choose from, our favourite being 2day Cafe.
If you want the five star treatment you must stay at the Conrad Nusa Dua. Meticulously clean with staff who were eager to please and always smiling. The food was amazing- from the poolside snacks, fantastic buffett breakfast to the incredible al la carte beachside restaurant. The pools and hotel grounds are exactly as you see in the brochures - like paradise.

Great hotel staff but bad wifiPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: Beautiful gardens & pool area with the clean beach area at our access
Cons: Wifi & cheaper food/snack outlet
Location: A quieter location for a peaceful holiday.
Wonderful welcome, fab room with view, helpful staff BUT surely we could have free & available wifi within the whole hotel including rooms for the price we pay, we went & ate at restaurants outside the hotel so we could be comfortable & get connected. Also we found prices of food & drinks a little expensive should have an outlet for snacks by the pool that don't break the bank.

Amazing hotel and staffPosted Sep 25, 2013
We stayed for a week to celebrate my birthday and we were travelling with our 8 month old infant for the first time. We booked a standard room but were upgraded at time of check-in. The room was totally amazing and had its own plunge pool. The staff were all so great and very helpful. We ate most of our meals at the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the meals from the pool side bar were also good. We had one meal at the restaurant eight degrees below, which wasn't really up to the standard for the price that you pay but the service made up for the food not being that great. The food overall was very overpriced but I guess that is what you pay at a 5 star hotel. All in all we had a great holiday and will definitely go back to the Conrad. We loved the service that we got from all the staff and the hotel facilities were top notch.

Fantastic friendly servicePosted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Overall the hotel rates highly. The one complaint if any is that the floors are stone and therefore you have a disturbed night with late arrivals trundling suitcases down the corridors. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The internet policy leaves something to be desired with a choice of paying in the room or taking your laptop to the lobby area for free wifi. Something they may wish to reconsider

Pros: Location and pool areas.
Cons: Free Wifi in the rooms.

Sat next to the beach so that`s great. Just not great deal of restaurants near by (other than Bali Collection).

Great honeymoon destinationPosted Aug 14, 2013
Pros: pool, our room, happy hour (5-7 at the pool, then 7-8 or 9 inside at another bar)
Cons: food and spa overprized
Location: very quiet. takes about 20 minutes to get to more lively part of town (taxi approx $10 one way)
When we arrived at 2:15pm our room wasn't ready (regular check in time is 3pm). So we waited on the lovely patio where we had a great view of the ocean and the pool. We had also been served a welcome drink which was really tasty. The first room we got was in building A and was roomy, but we didn't like the view and also it looked a bit old-ish, furniture had some scratches and just generally it didn't look like the 5* resorts we're used to. After a quick call to reception someone came and showed us another room to see if we liked that one better. I'm not sure if we got a free upgrade, but the next room was even bigger. Plus it had a nice garden view and the interior looked newer. Staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. We didn't go to the spa since it seemed overpriced, there's a great one (Rumah spa) just 2 minutes walking distance from the hotel which was superb. The only thing they could have done better, was to recognize the fact that we were on honeymoon. The receptionist congratulated, but there was not anything in the room other than a fresh tropical fruit bowl and a bland card. It wasn't a biggie, but I know other hotels surely do better.

Good hotel, bad internetPosted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was excellent, very clean & comfortable. Service was excellent and pool was great. But, only WiFi connection was in foyer and often that either didn't work or would only allow us to read but not send. This was over 3 different computer types. There was in-room internet connection, at a price. but it also only allowed receival, not send. This is a major oversight for an international-standard hotel as most guests need to remain in internet connection with home and business.
