Beautiful Family & Spa ExperiencePosted Jun 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
Ill start off with the disadvantages : Room has slightly low lighting, it is slightly away from the city.. But in bali that rarely matters, since most activities are not within the city and require an hours drive easily. So, in many cases, you may stand to gain time. Spa was relaxing, villas were beautiful, staff were so friendly, punctual and caring that not even one thing was desired by us. Since one of our phones were malfunctioning, one of the staff actually gave us her phone to use for the duration of the stay without any charge whatsoever. A really nice friendly place to stay!

Good place to have a romantic stayPosted May 10, 2012
Pros: Service and decorated Villa for Honeymoon and little touches every day of our stay
Cons: Food and Spa was too expensive, sorry... cocktails would need to be improved or do not offer
Location: Great location, great.
We stayed at Furama last week of April for our Honeymoon. It was a wonderful stay. We were picked up from Airport on time. Private Pool Villa was so beautifully decorated for us, with rose petals and frangipanis in every room, fruit platter, drinks on arrival. A letter and gift from manager. Service was very friendly and helpful, rooms were always clean and had a personal little touch, a small note on big comfty Kingbed. Breakfast was of great variety each morning and place was in magical private setting, nice and quiet, only a short drive to the wonderful village of Ubud. Service in Spa was great, however comes at a price. Food in Restaurant was good, but expensive. Programs provided by Management great and plenty and if you only stay for a short time, this is a very nice place to stay because staff is really making you feel very special. The little bit extra you pay in my opinion is really o.k.,a place like that has a lot with upkeeping, beautiful gardens, great clean pool, was cleaned daily, etc. it's easy to ignore minor imperfections if you are made feeling so welcome. We would go back to stay anytime. Thanks for looking after us so well keep up the good service. V.& S. Australia

4 days of blissPosted Apr 15, 2012
Pros: Villas, treatments
Cons: Limited breakfast menu
The villas are excellent - secluded with their own small plunge pool. Comfortable beds. The massages/treatments are first class and the spa is nicely appointed; you can also have treatments at your villa and the massage beds are already in place. The hotel lunch/dinner menu is a little bit limited and if you were staying for a week or more you would probably start to get a little bored if you expected to eat every meal there. The food itself was excellent. Breakfast was more limited, although perfectly adequate. We took a cooking class which was also very well done with a delicious 4 course lunch at the end of it, all cooked by ourselves. Ideal for a short relaxing break. Overall excellent value for money

When Going to Bali Stay in UbudPosted Apr 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel staff was great. They were attentive & so sweet. My fiance & I arrived late & check-in went smoothly. They took us to our room & showed us everything. This place is very peaceful & quiet if you want to relax. The spa massage was the BEST massage I've ever got! The offer a free shuttle to downtown Ubud where there are great shops & restaurants. I suggest renting a car & driver to tour the island. Our driver, David was so nice & spoke great English. I was there during the rainy season so I didn't get to experience the beaches.

Wonderful in every way!Posted Jan 2, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Furama Villas is the perfect place to unwind for a few days - we loved every minute. Lovely staff, excellent breakfasts, terrific private pool, great Spa, the list goes on. We wish we'd used the Furama as our base for the whole week and had just done day trips to Seminyak etc for shopping and tours. We loved the peace and quiet and can't wait to go back!

Location: jl Raya in Ubud offers as nice and more quiet offer than Monkey forest street shops where prices are much higher for the same Balad cycling from Volcano down to Ubud approx 20 kms dowhill a very pleasant and easy activity as well as drafting on the Ayung river a fun and easy outdoor activity.
- just okay, maybe for honeymoners as quite far from the townd and everything! 20 mn from the city forces you to well plane all your outings ... Ubud has many nice thing to wonder around ... hotel rooms are okay, our pool would have required a bit of good cleaning as it s more greenish bottom that clean blue tiles. spa has nothing exceptional much better balinese massage can be provided in town for the 5th of the price and much better quality of massage (eve massage lotus lane would be a good recommandation) staff is friendly and breakfast offers nice choice. diner is average and if you are linking a good balinese meal go to Ibu Rai at monkey forest street all is so much nice food and of course price!

Great Experience in BaliPosted Oct 18, 2011 on Hotels.com
One is never sure when one books through the internet but Furama Spa and Villas was one amazing Bali experience we had, which must be experienced by anyone travelling to Bali in my opinion .Very courteous staff, ready to assist and help at every opportunity. Just a little suggestion that perhaps the drivers should not try to push their sightseeing day tours on people, but apart from that rest everything was great about our entire stay. Would love to go back. In fact we did try to book our last night there but it was all booked out . Just confirms that it is a great place to stay in Bali and experience true Balinese hospitality.A bit far away from hustle and bustle and perhaps will not appeal to people who want to be in the middle of action. It is great for a peaceful and charming stay near Ubud. The shuttle service was a big help otherwise it would be hard to get to anywhere in Ubud . Thanks for an amazing experience.

Your own private oasis in the rice paddiesPosted Jun 24, 2011 on Hotels.com
Fantastic private villas - excellent service and good food, well appointed villas with all the mod cons. Each villa has its own private pool and compound. And probably one of the largest bathtubs i've ever seen. If you want to be close to all the action in Ubud then this is not really the place for you as it's a 20 min drive away. However Furama do run regular transfers daily into the main Ubud hub. However, if you want a place to just put your feet up to relax and escape the busier areas of Bali this is perfect.

Was not impressed by the stay. Our toilet and shower were outdoors and the room was extremely small. Was not what I was expecting from a deluxe room.
