Undtagelsen - med strejf af Baliesisk kultur.

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Smuk Balinesisk byggestil. Forholdsvist roligt.

Pros: locatie, sfeer, lekker eten.
(taxi Bluebirdgroup 30.000 IDR = 2,50 euro).

Located right on the beach. Not the best beach!

Posted Jan 30, 2015
Pros: The pool area, particularly at sunset! Brilliant
Cons: The Breakfast. Found to be bland and little variety.
Location: Away from the hustle of Kuta, But with the Hotel shuttle bus your in the middle of everything within 30minutes.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff couldn't be more helpful or pleasant than they were. Everything was done with smile & a thank you.

Nice relaxing resort on the beach.

Posted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: We loved the openness out on to the beach. There was breeze which kept it cool and seeing the storms roll in was good.
Cons: Allow guests to take pool towels to their room.
Location: Although it's not near anything of note there are plenty of taxis in the area and plenty of restaurants, money changers etc nearby.
We had a great experience at Grand Balisani. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. There is still a bit of a language barrier with some but others would soon step in and help. The resort is about 30 years old and is being renovated however this didn't impede on our stay at all. All the wait staff were great from the breakfast buffet to the restaurant to the swim up bar staff. The meals were well prepared and presented as were the drinks and the nightly entertainment was a bonus. One of the pool guys was a bit too mindful of the towels and asked where ours were from the day before. Apparently we had to hand them back to him instead of leave them in the room, so after that we returned to our room wet. We suggest you either buy cheap towels to wrap yourself in or bring your own. This is great resort to relax, which is what we wanted to do and the massages are better than the one we got at a posh spa. All our expectations were met and we highly recommend this resort.

Traditional Balinese Retreat - Recommended

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Very Friendly staff, always prompt responses.
Cons: Live music could be improved
Location: Excellent location, quiet location, 20 min taxi from Seminyak or a 10 min walk along the beach to popular beach clubs (Mozaic, w, potato, ku de tah)
A great break away. Excellent and friendly staff. We stayed in one of the Villa/Garden rooms and it was a large very tidy room with a high traditional Balinese style thatch roof. Room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Lounging by the pool was also a highlight as it was quiet, friendly staff made drinking cocktails in the pool enjoyable. Weather around new years was pretty average so most days had a steady onshore breeze, 2 out of 7 days had rain. Room service was prompt, menu could be updated slightly especially with more local cuisine. Recommend using the mosquito net or repellent nightly, apparently most resorts on the coast suffer from this. Overall, thoroughly recommend this resort for a relaxing break away. The hotel was ideally located right next to the beach, short walk to beachside resorts/clubs such as Moziac, w, Potato head) and also many little traditional warungs/food stalls. Very close to Seminyak and Kerobokan shopping areas via a 10-20 minute taxi or short walk along the beach.
