Nice hotel but somewhat disapointingPosted Aug 27, 2014
Pros: decor, rooms, staff
Cons: more shopping inside the hotel, larger TVs in rooms, better atmosphere in the bar area (the sitting/chairs were horible), more lawn chair
The Hotel is nice, however the restaurants are average, no training or exercise room available, too many children running around, and not enough lawn chairs available so they are all reserved with towells by 0900am. The spa is excelent.

Nice hotel but def not 5starPosted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: Decor, pool area, cleanliness of water. People selling on the beach
Location: Use. Trip advisor to eat in restaurants near by. So many cheap fab ones
Stated for a week in august 14. Room was basic-was a deluxe room. Hitel is def not a 5star western standard, a very generous 4. Hotel is large and spacious which means it's cool. The lobby is impressive but that's where it ends. The spa facilities were much more expensive than on the street. We had B and B. Breakfast was good and many people took avail. We ate in the hotel two nights and were disgusted by the food in the Italian restaurant. It was so expensive compared to out on Nusa dua stretch and the food was poor-limp watery pasta with tasteless sauce, honestly microwave meal would have been better. Beach is nice, but as it is motorised sports on it, there is a strong smell of fumes constantly. The pool was nice but didn't always get the sun and the sun loungers we're few and far between so as a result we didn't get to lay by this area once. Overall not the worst hotel iv stayed in. Location is good, but I wouldn't return to this hotel. Could do with updating. Staff very pleasant and hotel generally clean and well maintained.

Lovely hotel,very quiet room.Loved our stayPosted Aug 26, 2014
We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfasts were delicious. The hotel and surroundings were lovely and clean. The only downside were the deck chair hoggers that bagged a chair by putting a towel on it then going away for hours not always leaving enough for people turning up later if people just used a chair when needed then there would always be sufficient, but you get this happening everywhere, so apart from that the hotel was great, we have never slept so well in a hotel as it was lovely and quiet and bed was huge and comfortable. We had an ocean view room very relaxing end of day sitting on the balcony.

Great hotel on beach and near local restaurantsPosted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Pool area great for kids and also swim up bar
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Great close to local shops, diary etc and restaurants also close to other destinations with easy cheap taxi rides
We arrived, we were greeted by the lovely staff. Check in was no drama and quieck and everything was in place as we requested a few extras like a cot and a extra bed. They explained briefly were everything was as we had tired children. Service was great and food also excellent as we included breakfast. Great water sport option to keep kids entertains and also play room and kids club. Overall fab stay great staff, food and hotel would definitely stay again

Mid range family hotel on the beachPosted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Grounds, quiet room
Cons: Service. Limit offshore watersports, especially jetskis
Location: Not much to do in this area of Bali, but boats can be hired to local islands or take taxis to temples etc.
Good location on the beach set in nice extensive grounds. Beach nice and clean but a bit noisy with lots of watersports nearby. Food reasonable, all inclusive available. Service could be slow for a la carte and drinks. Ocean view room at end of corridor was quiet, but not a real ocean view. Good on site spa. Activities for children and entertainment for adults on site.

Mass Tourism ResortPosted Aug 8, 2014
Pros: The staff
Location: Plenty of restaurants, massage facilities and shops outside the hotel gate offering low cost services
Excellent staff always helpful, polite and courteous. Good location next to the beach but somewhat polluted by traffic on one side and recreational boats on the other side making the atmosphere smell of hydrocarbons. Great in the evenings when the boats stop running. Our room on the second floor was a little noisy at night with furniture being scraped and sounds like people running around. Breakfast was plentiful and well catered for by the excellent hotel staff but sometimes spoiled by ill-mannered guests who maybe hadn't eaten for a while! Overall I wouldn't stay there again but it is fine for families who want to use the resort activities and have lots of good food.

We stayed in Grand Mirage 9 years ago.Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: The pool, beach, rooom, and overal running of the hotel
Cons: No children allowed in bars in the evening. Also tourist/excursion advise is very poor.
We were disappointed in the amount of children/families staying. I loved the Grand Mirage, and it must be more family/children orientated then 9 years ago. We did not like the fact that little children were allowed in the bar late at night, that should be adult time, everywehere we went, you could not get away from crying/screaming kids.

Bali HolidayPosted Aug 3, 2014
Grand Mirage nice but getting a bit old. Breakfast good, Coffee undrinkable. Usual story because breakfast coffee is free they use cheap coffee. Espresso forget it, using Saeco machines. Beds great, rooms old but clean.

Nice hotel, very close to beach.Posted Jul 31, 2014
Go for all inclusive, it's cheaper. We found Thalassotherapy an excellent gateway and soothing experience.
